went up with Ben (wagonpowaa) and Aaron (Dwnhillskater) to Denny Creek right below Snoqulamie and there was some sonw up there! played a bit in Ben's BRAT, man i love subarus!!! no pics cuz the camara was out of batteries.

Maybe you guys will get it and we won't.Just the opposite of last year when you guys couldn't buy the white stuff and we had tons of it.

Wish we had snow. It was in the 70's this week so far (indian summer) but I think we will get dumped on this yr.

When I told Caleb it was snowing here, he started swearing(and sweating) saying he had to turn the AC on cause it was in the 80's that day. Glad I'm in the NW:D

baahh humbug :boohoo: it's 60 at night time. no chance of snow here. i definately miss the snow and rain. haven't seen falling water from the sky in any form in almost 2 months. :madder: i envy your weather...... if all goes well i might be in washington in january/ febuary. somehow the government is saying i have 2.5 days of leave, plus i'll accur 5 more before january.... hmmm... just might do that. snowboarding and 4 wheeling.

We got a little mixed with rain - nothing stuck. I'm hoping to have some tomorrow morning.

went up to stevens pass today and went snow boarding! Ya thats right. Scratched up my board real good but I dont care. It was still rad and I did a bunch off donuts and power slides down in the parking lot...I need a new clutch...We hiked a long ways now Im tired. I love snow and my Subee:D

there was a guy ther in a legacy sedan doin the same thing I was. It was totally awsome!

They weren't kidding about it only snowing down south. Today I took the Legacy and woman up to Darrington and drove to the top of a 4-5000 foot mountain/hill. There was ice and frost but not a single flake of snow. Totally dry up there. The only snow was way high on Whitehorse and other major peaks. Sunny but chilly weather followed by a kickass sunset. Winter is definitely coming this year. Probably. Maybe.

Wow Brian. Now where are these ski resorts in Sacramento???? hahahaha:D I think it snowed once in Sacramento in 1487.

Actually, last year it did snow here in sac. Not enough to stick, but it was huge flakes. Snowed for a good 20minutes before it turned back into rain.

 

I wasnt talking about boarding in Sac, but we're 90min from Tahoe. There's an off-road park less than 30minutes away too... so we could go wheeling on a saturday and then go boarding on a sunday... then if we wanted, we could drive to the beach on a monday.

Yeah, we went up to Alpental today in my brat. It was great. I was happy to see the big 4x4's having trouble on the roads. It was so cold and Aaron and Galen (car_freak85) sat in the jumpseats the entire ride up to the pass and back! I was cold in the cabin! I can't even imagine how cold it was in the bed, on the freeway at 70mph! :eh: :santa:

Crikey! Over here we might see some snow soon, but it'll be too warm for it to hang around

Just a short rain and some drizzle today..Got so happy when it rained, i took the backroad to work down a super muddy strightaway through the cornfield, and swiped my very tail end into a concrete pole on a 90 degree turn!!

 

Tahoe missions are a must for me this year!! Probably will only be able to do day missions by leaving at 4:00 am, but I havent snowboarded in two years and i am fieeeeeeeeeeending!!

 

Yes reverse wheel whip/brake stomping in the icy Squaw Valley Parking lot is quite a thrill, if you didn't eat a heavy breakfast!

Mon. morning and woke up to snow here... about 2 to 3 inches they said on the news... Tim was too busy doing the to even hear my questions about how much... LOL now at 8am its raining ice This is the kind of stuff Tim digs, but me? well I would rather Tim did all the driving cause Im not too smart on this stuff, being from the south and they close the world with one inch of snow... Now I cant wait for Tim to get home cause its fun to play in this with him... WHAT A RUSH!!! Vicky

man, that has to suck having snow and a car to drive, but not being able too. I feel your pain :-)

got about 1.5 inches here in central Wisconsin today...personally i coulda waited to see the stuff, I want those warmer temps back!!! :boohoo:

dont have a problem driving in the stuff, just not ready to deal with the darn cold yet!!!! guess i am getting too old to really enjoy it anymore.

 

all you 'younger' kids have fun! I'll stay inside where it's warm!!!

well, we've gotten about 3 inches in the last couple hours... way too fun coming home from work. tis my first winter with the new soob, so permagrin for sure this evening. ya'll were right about how ell they handle in the white stuff. roads were wicked icy, but no slip whatsoever. the yota 4wds in the lane next to me, well thats another story.
