I bought my RS with a bad front end vibration when braking that would shake the whole dash. I just passed it off as warped rotors and been saving up for new ones. I installed the new pads and rotors Saturday. The after-installation drive I noticed a slight difference in stopping distance but the violent shaking has yet to go away. What else could this be? -Kyle

Good looking car man, can't get enough pictures. I am going to be the first to give you the head gasket warning and urge you to purchase an aftermarket temperature gauge. You also landed something special with those wheels. -
Looks good man, can't get enough engine swap pictures.

RS took a coupe turns to start this morning but finally did. I am thinking battery might not last another winter. We haven't seen temperatures like this since '03 so it has been a shock for everyone. I took a screen-shot for such occasion: -
Yeah just tell them its an 84.

Doesn't look too bad. I love the "yeah it's fast sticker". Would love to see some more pictures and interior shots.

From that angle it has a Toyota AE86 look to it. -

Smart man. It took me two broke autozone cables to learn this. -
The Subarus of the 80's Site is back!

Good job Mick. It was one of them things that every time I looked at it, I learned something new. -

I assume the BRAT in question is the 87. I personally would tell them that it is for an '84. That way you don't risk getting the cable for an EA82. Seriously though, best thing to do is go to a Subaru dealer for the cable. I got mine for about $20 and the quality difference will blow you through the roof. -
Your the opposite of what I did a few months ago. I went from this 83 BRAT To this 2000 BRP 2.5RS: Welcome to this board. You will never find a larger resource dedicated to the older side of Subarus either. Would also love to see some pictures of your RS if you still have them.

First thing you need to do is get some cool pictures of it on here. We love BRAT pictures.
