Negative. I think that only the 81-82 and possibly 80 (if they made it dual range) had the shorter 4th gear. I can say I've owned all the years of gen 2 brats till 86 so have had a chance to learn the trannies. But the 81-82 wagons had the same dual range as the 82 brat.

A DL Brat took the top prize for brats at WCSS3, and I know or a DL brat that's probably gonna take best in show this year. Just plain awesome job this guy is doing restoring it. The pearl paint job is enough, just wait! I ain't telling who's it is either.

NO SA!!! Ken and I met up with my buddy Brian who had invited us up to play with the SNORT boys. THE BIG RIGS Big mixture of rigs, all much bigger than Ken's Brat. Well, they talked us into following them up to "The Wall". Found stuff that's right up there with the hardest/funnest stuff at Evans Creek. At the end of the day, nothing but big props for the Soob. From the biggest of the three rock crawling buggies. The guy who rode with me and Brian in his Toyota swears he's gonna buy one. hehe I didn't take many photos, but have some awesome footage I'll shoow off to locals who stop by to see it. I know now where we're having the Hatch Patrol Meet this year!!!! I can see/smell/hear the carnage now! SO how soon can you guys get your smack together to get up here for a weekend??
