  2. or take a long screw driver and stick it to the valve cover and place your ear on the other end then the same in the center of the block and you'll be able to tell which one it is
  3. if you have a impact gun then the rear should take about an hour the front if no bolts break it should take about 1-1.5 hours that and you will also need a spring compressor to do both
  4. don't worry if it take's a little time for him to get back to you he's usually pretty busy so be patient when e-mailing him
  5. considering mile and it being in florida and being 4wd i would say probably about $2000-$2500
  6. the reason it won't make any nose when it's in the air is cause there's no pressure on it but i'd try the balljoint first because the balljoint could be shifting when you turn the wheel
  7. sound like your choke isn't opening enough or one of mine had a crack in the ignition module so it would run but as soon as it got any heat it would die and would start again until it cooled
  8. have you just tried going to a thinner oil and it could be from someone running it low once
  9. has any one treid using a set of coil over helper shock in their lifted subaru s-10 seem to be the right dimensions and length the only thing i see you would have to do is drill out top to holes or use smaller bolts
  10. i've owned both and i didn't see any power difference. plus with the slight increase in hp is compensate by the increase in weight.not to step on any toe but i'd take either ohc or not their both great cars
  11. send that thing up here it's old enough herethat it wouldn't need a title and it doesn't look like they'd miss it much
  12. all the bad head gasket i see are on ohc timing belt motor and subaru had to do something to get work back into their garages beside exhaust and cv joints
  13. be careful when you grab them wires cause you might find a wire and get what it's got
  14. if you really want to find that coolant leak go buy a bottle of leak detector from napa and run that through your system for a day. then you'll need a black light where ever there's a leak it will show up as a florescent yellow and go from there. the bottle of stuff is only about $2 or $3
  15. i'd change the window switch just to see. but like mine the main power wire had kinked and when the door was open the window would work and when it was closed it wouldn't then it finally stopped working totally if thats any help?
  16. mobil one is always a good idea unless you have oil leaks because it will find them quicker then regular oil and will make those leaks worse .if so just go with a 10w30 during the winter or put a block heater in
  17. napa's got a universal one that run's at 5 psi and is like $30-35
  18. just pull a door lock and take it to a locksmith they can usually make a key in minutes and cheap as hell and that'll cover all your locks
  19. if you do replace the pump try and find a 90 or newer loyale so you wouldn't need a puller to get the pulley off
  20. if you don't have time to find it you could put a breaker in place of that fuse
  21. that and always make sure the filter gasket doesn't stick to the block or you'll be sorry
  22. whats a matter with your door locks have you tried going to a locksmith they can usually fixs anything or rebuild it fairly cheap
