  1. there is a guy in CA that offered me a free 73 splitgate:banana: he is going to be donating it soon, so if i can`t afford shipping, i will post his email addy if anybody wants it.it doesn`t sound too bad.at first he thought it was a 78, but then he realized from the title its a 73.the cheapest shipping i have found is $700, so i will have to shop around a bit. jon
  2. man is that thang ugly.360 is a better looking vehicle:brow:
  3. do you ship?if so, could i get an estimate for one of your ea81 brush guard bumpers to walden ny 12586.i am really interested, but money isn`t to plentiful right now.please let me know, Jon
  4. is the noise coming from the engine or drivetrain?maybe the cv`s are shot?

  7. there is fenders and a hood on ebay right now, just type in brat.i doubt you`ll find aftermarcket for a gen 1, and 82+ will not fit, just 81-
  8. my uncles forester has a loud pitched whisle under hard acceleration, but it sounds kinda cool, and doesn`t really hurt anything, so he hasn`t done anything about it in 3 yrs.
  9. good luck i hear that the 2wds are pretty zippy, but personally, i think a sube ain`t a sube unless its 4wd, but thats me:rolleyes:
  10. lookin good, boy that is close on the rear i was thinking of lifting my brat with nissan titan 17`s , but if yours are that close, i doubt they`ll fit.

  12. before i impulse buy, do you know if these ea81 lifts would fit an 85 brat?i haven`t had a wagon to compare to in a while.
  13. its possible, but you better plan on doing ALOT of work.engine, tranny, ecu, wiring, rear diff, cutting, and welding. a manual tranny would be alot better for towing.you really could put anything you want in there, it depends on how much work you want to do..... Jon
  14. the front looks pretty cool, i might go in for one of them and a lift, but let me sleep on it. how about the rear bumper, any pics? a rear like this would also be cool:brow: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photo...&cat=500&page=1
  15. http://autonet.ca/Spotlight/Concepts/story.cfm?story=/Spotlight/Concepts/2003/12/22/532153.html all of them look pretty cool (even though its kinda a old ad, and in Canada:) )
  16. Shady, got any pics of the ea81 bumpers?something like this would be cool: http://usmb.net/gallery/albuo28/Bumber_over_head http://usmb.net/gallery/albuo28/GD_s_bumper the ea81 lifts fit brats too right?i don`t have a wagon anymore to compare. Jon
  17. it looks pretty cool if you ask me:brow: you should do a justy up like that so its awd:lol:
  18. http://usmb.net/gallery/albuo13/BratHauling30foottrailer (mudrat79) this is with the weight on the truck!
  19. is there much rust on it?i would also be interested in pics.i might be interested in the whole thing or parts.already have a 85, and a 78, so always looking for more!thanks Jon
  20. let us know what he says.my bet is he won`t reply, an old sube means nothing to him, or it would probly end up costing a fortune.
  21. i wish i could go out there one day.how far is that from you?i probly could never get enough time off to make the trip worth while.
  22. super beetles had struts 69-79 (conv.) it would be a tight squeeze in an mg midget, but a mgb would be big enough:grin: i say do, and you will have the first!
