Early 90's small Pickups; Who made good ones and who made junk
toyota or older mazda before ford took over. i worked as a tech for ford and they are garbage. get a toyota and just like on Top Gear showed, they are indestructible.

So I made this jig for the CNC...
thats cool and all but i would rather re drill the factory hubs to 6lug, it looks so much better and is stronger then re drilling the rims.

rule of thumb for cutting springs?
when you shorten the spring you effectively raise the spring rate so it will be stiffer. which unless you have new struts its gonna ride like a honda, all bouncy and such. ive done it to drop the car for a week or so so i can see how the springs i ordered would sit, only as a temporary thing.

heater not hot enough :(
^gee that was alot of help... i would make sure that your blend door is working properly. its common on the EA81's that the cable will slip and it just push luke warm air.

-
Markus56 getting lifted!!
ya for the 4inch, 2inch that is not needed
-
Markus56 getting lifted!!
why? just use 2 different steel plates, no room to make 1 large one.
-
Markus56 getting lifted!!
i might have some time later today. i know he discontinued the 2inch kit. i would just get the 4 pieces of steel, drill the wholes 2inches apart and bend them out at about 15 degrees and call it good.
-
Markus56 getting lifted!!
you can do it that way, but i like the way SJR does it, 2 pieces of steel plate bent at like a 15degree angle and bolted to the stock mount. a lot faster and easier to install.
-
Markus56 getting lifted!!
you might have issues with your front CV's rubbing on the sub frame. i do atleast with the SJR 2inch lift. on the back, all you do is remove the 2 17mm bolts that hold the top of the strut to the body. grab the mount and twist it 180degrees. then you get your 2inch plate to drop it and bolt it up.

question for the 2inch lifted people
they are cut at whatever angle scott cuts them at. im using the 2inch SJR lift.
-
question for the 2inch lifted people
thanks scott ill have to look into that. and ya its just 2inch lift block's on the struts. but i will be lifting the body 1.5inches hopfully this week to help with the CV's. i might just have to get 4 new struts and see if that helps since they are the orignal one's to the car and it has over 230K on it.
