  1. MY86 SJR 2inch lift and 1.5inch spacers on the front X-member EJ22 MPFI swap 5sp D/R 3.90 rear LSD Yakima rack and Surco basket with shovel and spare custom front/rear bumpers outback seats
  2. gonna be intresting getting it ready for ausie, now i just need to find you another white hatch for spare parts for that one. ill let you know when i get the title from that guy. now we hve matching impreza's now eric, check out my new one in the off topic area.
  3. that looks AWESOME
  4. toyota or older mazda before ford took over. i worked as a tech for ford and they are garbage. get a toyota and just like on Top Gear showed, they are indestructible.
  5. thats cool and all but i would rather re drill the factory hubs to 6lug, it looks so much better and is stronger then re drilling the rims.
  6. when you shorten the spring you effectively raise the spring rate so it will be stiffer. which unless you have new struts its gonna ride like a honda, all bouncy and such. ive done it to drop the car for a week or so so i can see how the springs i ordered would sit, only as a temporary thing.
  7. ^gee that was alot of help... i would make sure that your blend door is working properly. its common on the EA81's that the cable will slip and it just push luke warm air.
  8. nice i did the same thing with my 83Z28 i had years back. swapped from the tan interior to the black and red just like yours. i miss that car, 314RWHP 376RWTQ.
  9. i like it, i would just rather have the large image on the back, but thats me.
  10. im sorry then because the car's here on the coast have a bolt that holds in the starter on top and bottom... i only work on these cars for a living and have every nut and bolt memorized.
  11. i can't wait to see the write up on this as well as the specs, i wouldn't mind doing that rear upgrade as well as the fronts.
  12. can't wait now that i have a exhaust system, ok ok just straight pipe but hey i love it, i just need to get the oil and temp gauge hooked up andmake the bash/skidd plate and im ready to roll.
  13. Gloyale: when subaru switched to the 8 bolt bell housing the lower stud was replaced with a bolt for the engine to tranns.
  14. nice pick up, too bad its not SPFI, i do miss my turbo 86 3DR i had in highschool.
  15. ya thats fine, just bend them, bolt them up and bolt them on.
  16. thats how my SJR lift is on the back, never had any problems. i just put locktyte on all the hardware.
  17. ya for the 4inch, 2inch that is not needed
  18. why? just use 2 different steel plates, no room to make 1 large one.
  19. i might have some time later today. i know he discontinued the 2inch kit. i would just get the 4 pieces of steel, drill the wholes 2inches apart and bend them out at about 15 degrees and call it good.
  20. you can do it that way, but i like the way SJR does it, 2 pieces of steel plate bent at like a 15degree angle and bolted to the stock mount. a lot faster and easier to install.
  21. you might have issues with your front CV's rubbing on the sub frame. i do atleast with the SJR 2inch lift. on the back, all you do is remove the 2 17mm bolts that hold the top of the strut to the body. grab the mount and twist it 180degrees. then you get your 2inch plate to drop it and bolt it up.
  22. make that 2 fatboy's ill take 1 in XL, and one BRAT T-shirt in XL as well, can pay for both at the end of this week. PM me when you're ready for payment and addy. wouldn't mind a lifted loyale t-shirt as well.
  23. now that is awesome keep us posted. i just finished with a EJ swap on my 86 wagon so i might be able to help with a few things, mostly i would talk with Suberdave and Numbchux
  24. they are cut at whatever angle scott cuts them at. im using the 2inch SJR lift.
  25. thanks scott ill have to look into that. and ya its just 2inch lift block's on the struts. but i will be lifting the body 1.5inches hopfully this week to help with the CV's. i might just have to get 4 new struts and see if that helps since they are the orignal one's to the car and it has over 230K on it.
