  1. Might fit with some trimming. Although, a 215 65 16 would fit with alight rubbing, maybe check to see what the height differences are between the 2? If you put strut spacers on top of the outback struts on an obs, you should really do subframe spacers too.
  2. I think maybe the prep was where they went wrong last time. No need for new bolts. I personally would use the 6 start gaskets. I know a mechanic that has been using them for years, with no return failures.
  3. That plug, plugs into the maf. There are people on here that trim these harnesses down to only what is needed to make the engine run in whatever you drop it into.
  4. Fel pro gaskets on a 2.5 are a no no. Use oem STi headgaskets or 6 star, and as said, prep Isa huge part of the job, and then following the proper torque sequence.
  5. I've never had to use longer front endlinks in any of the several lifted Subarus I've had. I also ran 215 70 16 grabbers without a rear trailing arm brackets which is the biggest you can run without hitting the rear spring plate, and never came close to hitting in front of the rear tire, so it's not absolutely necessary, but won't hurt.
  6. Ya know it's people like you, that give the car community a bad name. I stepped up and answered a question you had, that you obviously weren't knowledgeable about, and you turn around and act like an spardnubbin. If I didn't know what I was talking about, I wouldn't have answered the question. Sounds like you have a lot of reading to do, little boy.
  7. They didn't even make foresters and outback in the early 90's Scott. 98-08 Forester struts, or 96-99 Outback struts, will be a direct bolt in, and will give you around 2" of lift. Top hats are the same as well. If you want to recenter the rear tire, then you can use the trailing around bracket from one of those as well. But it's not absolutely necessary. And as was already said, any other parts are bases off the Impreza, not the Outback.
  8. 98-08 Forester struts and 96-99 Outback struts will be a direct bolt in.
  9. Little boys with beater cars? If you only had a clue. Which you've made very obvious you don't. Piss off.
  10. You can leave the site if you're going to be an ignorant rump roast. That is real experience. And there are many professional companies that do exactly what I said. If you want better answers, especially for an arrogant person like yourself, go to Nasioc.com
  11. The 99 Outback is a phase 2 block, but everything else is phase 1. So you're phase 1 2.w will bolt right in and everything will plug in as wlel. You need the 2.2 intake manifold as well as the single port exhaust manifold.
  12. Most of the headlights you see, have been opened up, painted, and if they weren't equipped with factory projectors, they're retrofitted for projectors, and fitted with HID's.
  13. 235 70 16 Hankook dynapro all terrains on my 98 Forester with an Anderson Design and Fabrication Mammoth lift
  14. The 2.2 takes boost just fine. Run it on waste gate pressure, around 7psi, and it definitely wouldn't have any issues. I know guys running the 2.2 bottom end with dohc 2.5 heads and a Vf39 running 17psi, for several years, and beating the snot out of them with no issues.
  15. Remove the gauge cluster from the dash, the lights can be easily accessed from the back of the clister. You just turn them and pull them out. Find the blown one and replace it.
  16. Forester springs or any ej style suspension won't work on your car. You're only option is lift blocks.

    #56.

I've driven both. They both have their days. I actually like the cvt in the crosstrek. I've heard the 5spd is nutless. Nice hatch Zap.
  18. Try removing the outer clamp on the inner boot and sliding the boot up a bit, the clamp it back down with a wide zip tie. That should help with your cv boots tearing. I believe without looking back, you're the one who I sold the lift to back a couple years ago.
  19. Nice. I think I ran a 205 75 14 on mine with a 3" lift. I had to slightly trim ehind the front tires, but that was it. Can't wait too see yours lifted!
  20. Love your attention to detail. Great work so far. I've been a supporter of you installing the lift since you got it lol. Glad you've decided to. Doesn't mean you need to wheel it! I look forward to seeing progress!
  21. For 02-07 imprezas, you just simply bolt in 98-08 forester struts or 96-99 outback struts. The entire assemblies bolt in without modification.
