  1. I run mine without a rear sway. It's a daily driver and I barely notice a difference. And when you hit the trail the sway bar doesn't limit travel. Sounds like you got the rest figured out though. Another option, especially for the rear, is to get the longer lateral links from the Legacy, or even an 02-07 impreza and installing them, or adjustable lateral links, and those would help with any camber issues you may have.
  2. Try Anderson Design and Fabrication. Andersondesign-fab.com or search on facebook.
  3. Yep 16's will fit. Are you part of mainelysubarus.com? Not sure if I've asked before.
  4. If you want to keep the sway bars, you'll need the sway bar mounts off a forester to drop them down far enough. That's for the rear. The front you may want upgrade the endlinks, but that's about it.
  5. My 98 Forester S lifted with ADF Mammoth lift.
  6. Got the rest of the Anderson Design and Fabrication Mammoth lift kit installed on my Forester this weekend.
  7. There ya go. Sorry I didn't reply sooner.
  8. Did you swap your cam pulleys over from the 2.2? I think they're different between the 2.2 and 2.5

Sounds like either way, ccr didn't do something right when assembling this engine.
  10. All Outback have 2.5 issues. Not just a certain generation. And if they are done correctly the first time, they won't need to be done again, let alone every 100k.
  11. It's common for the lower slide pin to seize up, especially anywhere there's a winter with salty roads. Free it up, clean it up, and use synthetic caliper grease on them.
  12. Yeah make sure you drive it around a bit. If it doesn't go away, then I'd say they're off somehow. I have seen others post on here and on the aussie forum with the same issue with the sjr lift.

    4wd swap it! Looks nice!
  14. That's what I'm running on my ej swapped Loyale. They definitely do their job!
  15. Radiator support is different as well. Also, sedan and wagon are different. Sedan is wider. But yes, it can be and has been done.
  16. Intake will bolt right on. There's a chance you'll have to swap over the cam gears and crank sprocket from the 2.2 heads. I can't remember for sure.
  17. It's been done before. Many times. The phase 2 heads are almost the same. The phase 1 heads are very different. Sohc vs. DOHC, along with the use of a different intake manifold. There are many turbo builds built that way with no issues. So slapping phase 2 w.5 heads onto a 2.2 shouldn't cause much issue at, considering how similar they are.
  18. Probably be about the same.
  19. Sohc 2.5 I know that 99-02 would fit for sure. Probably a few other years as well.
  20. Yeah I should have one kicking around. I know I have one in my parts car. Shoot me a private message.
  21. Yeah phase 2 2.5 heads will go right on and won't be much different at all. The phase 2 heads are almost identical.
  22. Yes it's a 16v. Either replace the valves and have the head machined to accept new valves, or just put a good phase 2 2.2 head on it.
