  1. depending on howw things go, i might try to go, it all depends on if i can get the time off of work.
  2. i say that you should just stick with what you know. im getting close to building up my ea82t.
  3. where are you finding the circle track suppliers?? i was thinking about getting some custom springs for my rx.
  4. wonder what it would cost to get that thing out my way
  5. that is wrong on so many levels, i love it!!
  6. if it is anythink like the toyotas, it might be a cold start injector, perhapse they had a cold climate version of the car?
  7. definatly keep us updated man. and if you find a damn good deal on a jdm sti conversion on the east coast, let me know, i needs one for my impreza.
  8. man, id like to have that for my impreza. where do you keep finding these engines?
  9. where did you find the rally bulbs?? my stock lights are crap and anything better would be wonderful.
  10. h4, or 9003 bulbs are better than the 9004 bulbs. cant wait to see some before and after action pics of the set up man. id like to find something like the morrette headlights on the impreza, where the high and low beams are seperate and one set is a projector. i think that might look cool on the old school cars.
  11. that is strange that they would need shimming, if the cam is bigger then one would think that you would need shorted lifters, or something like that,. ill ask about that when i talk to my machinist.
  12. methinks that they add material and then regrind them to spec.
  13. ducttape dont stick to mud and the pump was leaking way tooo bad to try to reuse it.
  14. like my fuel pump in the back seat?
  15. well, its that tiume of the year again, time to post the fun i had in northern pa yesterday. it was a fun rally, even though i only attended one stage. only down side to the day being that i lost my fuel pump in the rx. kinda got ripped out by the thick, deep mud on the road to the stage. i made it up the hill, but coming down, i had people in the back seat and i guess caused the car to sag a bit, enough for the mud to rip out my fuel pump:banghead: here are some pics i took of the race and of my car.
  16. keep us updated, i wnat to see how this turns out.
  17. i think that you could use the pistons from the ea82t and the nissan 280/300zx turbo fuel injectors. then i think that you might need to get a new set of cams with a little less overlap for the turbo so that you dont waste the boost out the exhaust side... or something like that,
  18. what are the issues with the 272 cams?? thats what i was thinking about getting for my car. what would it take to run the 272?
  19. if i remember correctly, the larger the grind, the farther up the rpm range the power band goes. it is a great thing if you are racing, but for a daily driver, id reccomend a mild grind over any other.
  20. methinks your missing the point. they dont just grind down the stock cams, they add material to them and then regrind them to what ever profile you ask for.
  21. i might need a new tranny for my impreza as i think the center diff is about done. im not 100% on that but its acting like fwd
  22. i tihnk the newer impreza wheel will fit but youll have to modify the horn button. or something like that.
  23. that would be sweet, pity i have a wedding in southern va to attend, that is only like an hour from me, or something like that.
