  1. Here's a thread about this Subaru. To summarize, a kid bought it in Oregon City for $2000, and re-listed it the next day for $3000. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=109078
  2. There's a 95 Legacy at the Pick-N-Pull on Foster Road. I'm not sure if it has ABS or not, but I'm going there tomorrow.
  3. If I find a set of the stock alloys, I'd be willing to ship. I'd trade you mine for the WRX wheels, but they are trashed. Not much curb rash, but the paint is awful. Is it winestone or mica ruby metallic? I can't tell from the photos.
  4. Yes, all 1991 turbo Legacy models had a viscous LSD. The plug is just dirty, it's just my crappy camera making it look funny. All fluids are going to be drained and replaced before any long trips. Original window sticker. The car was originally sold in College Park, MD. From all the service receipts, I can tell that the original owner(s) lived in Gaithersburg, MD, McLean, VA, Boulder, CO, Westminster, CO, Naples, FL, Portland, OR, and finally West Linn, OR. The person I bought it from was the second or third owner, I'm not quite sure. She owned it for just about two years. MPG sticker. I'm going to paint the wheels as close to the original silver as I can. Powder coating is not in my budget right now.
  5. I was really hoping to see a Justy with a Mopar 440 big block. Very disappointed.
  6. Hey,

What color is the interior? I'm interested in the seats, seatbelts, sun visors, maybe the wheels and tires. You can email me a legacyturboss -A-T- g ma il com

  7. with 164,000 miles, all maintenance records and receipts since new, 4EAT rebuilt about 15,000 miles ago, new timing belt, axles, wheel bearings, windshield, and on and on. Factory fog lights, cruise control, power windows/locks/mirrors, ice cold A/C recently recharged, everything works except for the sunroof. The guy selling it didn't really seem to know what he had, and was just selling it for his girlfriend. He had dozens of emails within minutes of posting in on craigslist, but I was the only person who gave a phone number. Needs some work on the sunroof, new sunroof seal, paint has some clearcoat peeling, seats and interior need a good cleaning, wheels need to be painted, trim needs to be re-painted, blahblahblah. Future plans: 2006 WRX or Saab 900 intercooler, new paint, and that's about it until I am done with school. Previous owner thought it was a 1992, but it's not. A viscous LSD is better than no LSD at all. These need some work. More pictures soon, including one of the original window sticker. Don't ask me how much I paid for it, I don't like gloating.
  8. You may want to learn the proper use of punctuation and capitalization before you post your questions on NASIOC. otherwiseyou maygetreamed they are not asfriendly over there Glen Burnie, Maryland? I used to live in Baltimore and Towson. Check out IAG in Westminster http://www.iagperformance.com/ , and Agile in Fallston http://www.agileauto.com/ .
  9. I took my dust deflector off, and I haven't noticed any difference yet. Then again, there's not much dust in Oregon in the winter.
  10. Good: I like the fog lights in the grille, looks clean. Working clock in an EA car, awesome. Bad: NO HIDs. Listen to this Brit. He's a bloody wanker, but what he says is true. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVuSSdZNsZw I'd sell all the stereo gear, and buy a good used Warn 8274 and some synthetic winch line, but that's just me. Nice looking wagon, can't go wrong with a silver Subaru.
  11. Carb cleaner in the eyes BURNS. Don't ask me how I know, but I now always wear safety glasses when using carb cleaner, brake cleaner, or any type of solvent. If you like reading MSDS sheets as much as I do... 12. This thread is a good reminder to get an estimate on paper, and to make it clear to the service advisor/mechanic that if the cost of repairs is somehow going be significantly higher than the estimate, to give you a call and get your permission before they continue.
  13. Are the Zuk axles stock Samurai axles? There was a guy on CL in Portland selling a set of built Suzuki axles a few months ago. What size tires are you planning on running? http://www.sky-manufacturing.com/new/detaproduct.php?id=148

  15. It looks like a Porsche Cayenne, Subaru Outback, and Pontiac Aztek had a three-way, and out popped a retarded baby. Ugly and stupid. AWD is only available on the Countryman S, base model gets stuck with the suck.

  22. When swapping from drums to discs, should the master cylinder from the donor car be used as well? I'm considering upgrading to 2.5RS or WRX rear disc brakes the next time the drums on my 2002 OBS need to be serviced.
