STI Brat
Yeah thats one sweet brat. a lot of work seemed to have been put in it. that intercooler is a *little* too big for me though. I have a question, Are brats post 1987 considered gen 3's? do they have standard 5 lugs? does anyone know how hard it would be to convert if not?

RX In the snow (pix of course)
Yeah Dave, it's real chunky on top and cement underneath. It was fun, we did this on a whim, as Brian wasn't even sure he was comin up this morning. Didn't make it too far either, none of the roads are open or trekked yet.

RX In the snow (pix of course)
Yeah, we had fun, too bad my brat looked like this this morning: And we couldn't get past my stupid Jeep. I now know to park all the soobs IN FRONT of the jeeps and other non soob cars. Anyway, here's a link to a video of Brian playin in the snow with the RX: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showgallery.php?cat=641 Sorry there's no sound and it's kinda choppy, I don't have a firewire port on my laptop. I'll get that fixed soon enough. Again, we had a blast.

what tyres for my 14x6 Sunraysia's
I think you'd have clearance for anything in the 25-26" range. All Terrain tires would work. It's a matter of preference on top of that.

Somebody broke into my RX
That sucks. I'm sorry to hear that, but glad to hear the the car wasn't COMPLETELY destroyed. They must not be the "working" tyoe to have left the tools behind.

jump seat installation 86 brat
Yes, the seats were factory welded in. It's easier for you to take in and out if you bolt them in, but if you don't plan on taking them in or out, you may certainly weld them. On factory brats, the seats are welded in by 2 upside down u pieces of metal. I'm sure you could find a decent pic while looking through the photo galler for an example. There SHOULD be 2 headrest pillars behind the cab that you mount the headrests to, so I'm not sure why they wouldn't line up. Previous owner? anyway, thats what I can think of now.

MoAb [pics and video]
Would it even be possible for us all to get together for a subaru event in Moab? That seems like a SWEET spot to maybe have the next Subaru meet. We could probably get it sponsered like all those Jeep and Toy events... That'd be great to get a whole gathering of Subaru's there, as there would be plenty of trails for lifted and nonlifted subarus to have fun with. I think it's something to seriously consider. I'm in.

Lake Tahoe Snow Run.
Is it supposed to snow anytime soon? Because it seems like we aren't gonna have a snow run if we don't have any snow. Maybe we can get together for a regular run? I don't know, this weather's been amazingly crappy (Not Snowing)

HELP! 1984 EA81: Starter won't spin!
The solenoid is located inside the starter right? We haven't been checking because we've tried 3 starters, and if the solenoid is bad on all 3, then it must be something else that's causing the fail, right?

HELP! 1984 EA81: Starter won't spin!
I was ther helping Jeremy today, and the cables are fine and tight. We cleaned the battery cables as well. It does the same thing. We tried using battery cables and nothing. We tried to push start it and it started, and we let it idle for 5 or 10 minutes, then turned it off. Tried to start it back up and nothing. We disconnected the alternator and it does the same thing. I don't know whats up.Thanks for the input though, it's appreciated.

Question about brat seats
Yeah, should be, Subaru Brats were MANUFACTURED with those in the bed, so it's all factory stuff. You should have no problems with any laws.
