Ea81-ea82 swap
I attempted it on an ea81 in an ea81 car w a ea82t rad. pulleys didna line up. do you swap the harmonic balancer too? i didnt try that way
-
Ea81-ea82 swap
If youre looking at the engine from the front one is to the left (passenger) of the harmonic balancer. one is under the water pump. the remaining (rear) two are behind your flywheel. im thinking it would work the other way around or with some awkward configuration of parts I didnt try yet.

Ea81-ea82 swap
no, but you can remove the 4 14mm allen plugs to get at the wrist pins without splitting the block. crank wont come out without splitting the case.

post lift vibration
sounds to me like tired cv axles, or tires out of balance

Dumb idea

ea82 with flat drive belts?
the whole motor youre trying to install would be good to photograph. if you have dual intake ports on your head an spfi intake wont work. youll need the mpfi "spider" intake

1992 loyale axle nut backed off , around 80 km/h
i had a rear WB fail at 70+ on my lifted rig, i destroyed my caliper beyond safety, melted the trailing arm and wrecked the rotor. I guess your results may vary

1992 loyale axle nut backed off , around 80 km/h

Ea81-ea82 swap
I tried this on my hatch yesterday, the snout was too long and the pulleys didnt line up . I ended up using Gates hose # 21029 and installed my ea82t radiator on my hatch...after I re did the wp lol /hijack

Ascending to hatchdom......and fun with little issues
The radiator finally gave me the old heave ho yesterday. No overheat, I was close to home. I tried pinching the offending rad tube but it was too deteriorated at the tank. Solution: dual row ea82t radiator. "but those dont fit". im sure im not the first. I used a gates number 21029 and cut it down a little. swapped over the fan connectors, as the gen2 fan didnt fit, and the cts. this was also a good excuse to delete the ac unit, so i did. word to the wise, while you might think its a good idea to put a ea82 water pump on your ea81 to utilize the pipe and therefore the ea82 rad.....dont. the snout is too long and doesnt work.....that cost me an extra 1.62 and some rtv to learn (testfit??). yay, no more leaky radiator, i may take it down the street to a radiator shop (yes they still exist) and have it repaired. I shall post picks after use something other than bailing wire to hold it in. cheers, RV

EA82 Idle Issue (Cyclic Idle)
im thinking unplugging an O2 sensor thats bad wont have any effect. hondas w bad ones sound like that. also, are you still running a TB w/o that base spacer? are you leaking there?
