  2. if your covers were off, youd know if he did the pulleys too
  3. run no covers. how often do you submerge your soob? thats what i thought. now take those covers off, if ya wanna be lazy (like me half the time) leave the rears until you have a slow saturday morning then do it. also, use google. it answers a lot of questions repeatedly asked around here. also rip out the ac and clutch fan. wire a toggle to the electric one.

  5. pull the motor, it doesnt add that much time, and your back will thank you. the time it takes to r and i a motor cant be much more than the extra time it takes to find things you cant see/drop/didnt know were there etc. plus youll find AND have access to all the stuff you didnt know was wrong and fix it easier
  6. loyale2.7turbo is a member here and has a good write up on the relay. but for now ill tell ya the relays are above the fuse block on the left side of your ride, under the dash. Did you take the disty cap off yet??? if not youll find a little screw sitting in there, dont lose it. pull the rotor off and look at the hole. thats where the screw goes through and into the disty shaft. button that up, drive to the store and buy me a beer. RV

  8. i would suggest making your tabs too long until after you bend them. at that point you can square em up and then find your 2" range. mine are a little longer than 2" but idk how much, as i didnt build it. hth

  12. yes, available for free at your local pap, thats where i got mine. unfortunately for me, my problem was the relay. when i replaced the wiring tho , i left it long so i can put the headlight above the grill for whatever reason. might be useful for something (like checking lights by yourself when a wall isnt available)

  18. headlight relay. theres two of em in a group of four above the fuseblock under the dash. run a google search. hth

  20. afaik, ALL frankies are interference, theyre a 2.5 bottom end.
  21. you can use all kinds of mudflaps if you cant find some for a brat. my buddy has maxima stuff all over his legacy, looks great. find something you like and use it. get some self tapping panhead screws and call it a day RV
  22. if you removed the 3 nuts at the top of the strut you allowed the strut to come down, which is not letting the axle get out enough because the axle and strut are still moving in unison. do some more searching, maybe watch a video or two, itll come to ya. whatever ya do, dont start beating the pee out of anything. ank me how i know:D RV

Jezsek, ya i rarely comment due to the textbook-like nature of your stuff. its hard to believe all that comes out of one brain. and so detailed as well... you are one of the main reasons i came to settle here on usmb.   24. yards in my area give you a seven days warranty. so, get it, swap it, flog it. if it lives, you got a good one. heck, i got one with bottom end noise and it still lasted til i built a good one. it was a daaawwg but it ran. long story short, just c y a
  25. do make sure those are not the 390mm pug steelies. youll be pissed if they are.
