  1. I'm heading up Saturday to pick up some items from edrach, I'm also thinking about heading over to Boeing Surplus too. Anyone else want to meet up for anything? Qman If you're are going to be around I can deliver your items too or I can leave them with Ed if it's cool with both of you.
  2. I'm pretty sure Subaru's curse control uses the same VSS and you could get cruse with an analog dash.
  3. There is more then one haystack rock. The shot you're thinking of was shot at cannon beach, my pics are from Cape Kiwanda.
  4. Nope, the scene you're thinking about was shot further north; closer to Astoria.
  5. So I drove over to the coast and took some pictures. http://home.comcast.net/~c.moe/coast03.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~c.moe/coast01.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~c.moe/coast02.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~c.moe/coast08.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~c.moe/coast07.jpg Okay, for those of you with bandwidth/small monitor/low resolutions issues here are some smaller copies http://home.comcast.net/~c.moe/coast03_s.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~c.moe/coast01_s.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~c.moe/coast02_s.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~c.moe/coast08_s.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~c.moe/coast07_s.jpg
  6. The e-brake is on the front calipers on the early Subarus so if they were working fine when you worked on your back brakes they should still be fine.
  7. Have you cleaned the EGR system and verified that it's working properly?
  8. Disconnect the E-brake cable from the right caliper and see if it releases; you may have a bad cable.
  9. Ah this is good news, then. I shouldn't have too much of a problem finding alloys for the 165/80-13s I'm looking to get.
  10. Can anyone think of any subaru or aftermarket alloy wheels that have a wheel width of 5" or 5.5"?
  11. I average 1 per 15 Engines when I was scrappingout EAxxs for a living.
  12. It's not free and it's only cheap compaired to other driving schools. It's $180 if you pay before March 15th. http://www.writerguy.com/primitive/marchschool.pdf
  13. Okay, all 4wd GL-10s were turbos, some 2wd GL-10 came with the N/A MPFI.
  14. If your 87 is carbureted, check the ASV silencers. When the ASV valve(s) fail they will take the silencers out with them and you'll get they type of noise that you're describing.
  15. The plugs that you buy at the dealer are NGKs however, Subarus that are assembled in the US get Crapions installed on the assembly line.
  16. Have you called Lithia yet? Paul or Rodney will porbably sell one for wholesale, even if it needs to come from Japan.
  17. Hey I have this Specialty tool and when I did a part number look-up on it, subaruparts.com only says it's an aligner; another reference I got elsewhere is that it's a cylinder head aligner for 1400 & 1600. So what is it really and do any of you actually need one? http://home.comcast.net/~c.moe/tool2.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~c.moe/tool1.jpg
  18. I got mine on EBay for about $11 including shipping.
  19. So with that logic, a 3,351 lbs WRX STI would be disgusting to drive?
