Are you getting the heads cryotreated too? They're the weak link in EA82T setups, and your heads are similar... good luck with this, it sounds amazing. I appreciate the detail work you're putting into it.

go for it. You'll have slightly fewer horses under the hood but as long as your EA81 doesn't have a feedback carb, it'll be super easy to wire up.

your springs and shocks are probably toast from the weight. Get some "new" rear shocks & springs from another 4WD wagon out at pull N save.

dispute the charge for the oil pump on your credit card. if the motor's dead then communicate with the company in writing and take them to small claims court. and next time pull the fuse to the fuel pump and crank it a little to give anything major a chance to go wrong under oil pressure. good luck..

in my 86 EA82T wagon - with a stock engine and exhaust and with the air filter box chopped - I was driving up the steep side of the Columbia Basin at Vantage and took it up to 90 in 5th gear and had plenty more left.

hm, my wagon's round mounts have the same problem and it has 0 miles on it thus far...

I've already put a 2.25" exhaust on after the downpipe, no muffler. Planned are a 5-speed swap (XT6 flywheel), rear disc brake conversion, XT6 seats, WRX downpipe & custom header, 4-spoke alloys, new side window seals, new driveline mounts, intercooler, analog dash swap, and of course some better sheetmetal for the front. I've got the parts for all of that except the front sheetmetal and the rear discs and I have yet to select/find a 5-speed trans. I also have like-new gold & black side trim pieces :cool: 1986 GL10 ex-turbowagon -old picture of the wagon: Current picture of the wagon: I'll post in more detail about the wagon when it's done, but it has a 4" lift, RX trans/LSD, EJ swap, and a whole bunch more!
