  1. Hmmm maybe someone with an Electrical volume of an FSM could enlighten us all
  2. As in.... what does each link protect in your electrical system? or Which color link goes where? (color code should be on the plastic cover that sits over them)
  3. That sucks man but maybe you could help everyone else out with your experience? Are you seeing what year/make/model these rims are coming off of? Or is it just in a pile of rims/tires like a lot of yards have? Thanks!
  4. http://www.oly4x4.com/4x4calculators.htm Transmis Ratio: 3.307 TransCase Ratio: 1.592 Axle Ratio: 3.9 "Crawl" Ratio: 20.5325016 Seem's pretty wussy when I was talking to a guy yesterday about Land Cruisers while looking at some Subaru's he was trying to get rid off. He was boasting 300+ "crawl" ratio Said it was more than you'd ever need but did it anyway :-p What kind of #'s are you t-case mod duders pulling? Is this the only real viable way to improve our gearing? Honestly this was the first thing I noticed when I got out on some real trails in 4Lo after the lift and tires.... I wanted another Lo range !_!
  5. Sounds like there is too much backspacing on those Toyota rims Different rims out of the question? Pull a stud and take some measurements. Should be able to find longer ones that will fit in. Making a spacer shouldnt be too difficult if you have access to a shop. Make sure 1/2" is gonna clear you even when your suspension is tweaked. There is some side to side play when the heat gets on
  6. I belive only the EJ22Turbo models came with a MAP in your generation Legacy. Is this a turbo model? Otherwise you should just have a MAF there by your air box where the air filter goes. Realy easy to tell as there is a black box on top of a metal tube with a plug and wire cluster going to it. RARELY is the computer bad but it IS a possibility. Is your Check Engine Light on? If so you can pull the codes yoruself and it will tell you exactly what it thinks is wrong. Then you have atleast somewhere to trouble shoot from.
  7. Looks like one spotted something there!
  8. I run the same pump on my EA82 SPFI. I've seen it work, first hand, on an EA82 MPFI and an ER27 (H6 MPFI). It's designed to meet demand of a 351ci V8.... it will meet demand for your 2.2 liter H4
  9. Thats why I wanted some business cards of the USMB. Start leaving them on peoples windshields These people might not be enthusieasts becuase they might not realize how many of us are really out there!
  10. That was some sweet footage guys. Looks like yall had a blast. Those dogs are good spotters eh?
  11. Totally depends on your area. ALL old subarus are rare around here. Loyales being the most common but everything else I've never seen more than 2 or 3 unique ones (as in I see the same 2 or 3 of one type running around) I guess ppl just didnt buy them around here back then. Funny now though you see TONS of the Legacy's on upto brand new WRXs, Foresters, etc. Even see quite a few H6's running around!
  12. Never had much luck with them around here either. Subarus there at the stealerships here localy are second class to the other manufacturers they sell. Then the Subaru guys that do work there arent into them at all and couldn't care less about selling your something for one. Now add the factor you have an OLD Subaru they've rarely heard of that FHI prolly don't even make parts for anyway....
  13. WTG Glad it was a nice and straight forward swap. They really are a sweet when you get them on and bleed eh????
  14. It has a tangy zip to it.... definatly crappy Miracle Whip! :-p
  15. BUAHAHhahaha YOu had me going there for a sec.... dialup is slow getting that pic! :-p Those rims are BLING!
  16. Prolly more of an issue of availability. Otherwise yes one would belive you would just use the EJ22 pump. I know I would; if I could get a used one. A new one? Prolly too rich for my blood :-p
  17. Yeah for sure. I rarely travel light in the Subaru. :-p That's why I like ORV parks and events a lot. Got a base camp to unload at and run light on the trails. Then make any repairs back at base camp.
  18. When I drive it I put on about 30 to 50 miles. Gets upto full temp for sure. Mostly freeway miles unless its rush hour; then it's stop and go. So how do I get rid of this crap? Some Isopropol alcohol or seafoam? Has anyone cured it or do we all just live with it? LOL
  19. 800 ? That's possible with how ppl drive around here Finally got some more snow lastnight... half inch! WOO just enoguh to cover up the brown. We need a good 12 inches >:|
  20. Hope your flight came in OK Austin.... pretty nasty out there still. Got some snow lastnight and it's still real icy!
  21. Or some caster wheels LOL
