  1. He's just checking to see if it's a girl or boy Subaru
  2. How many times a year do they roll over . Last time I cought the Monte Carlo run they rolled it good.
  3. Looked pretty sloppy out there! Need some more Brat action shots next time! Oh and that Jeep's tires were WAY too narrow... he should get some WIDE ones :-p
  4. As far as the actual brand does it really matter? They all get it from the same refinery in your area I usually run 89 octane in my EA82 SPFI.
  5. Sat. 01 JAN 05, meet between 12:00 and 1:00. Directions: Turitto's Pizza 6611 E Concord Blvd Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076 - 4201 (651) 455-6363 On I-494 exit off at Concord Blvd. Take Concord Blvd. south into Invergrove Heights. On your right you will see a yellow sign for Turitto's Pizza and Subs. On the left accross the rail road tracks is King of Diamonds. Pull into the pizza shop lot and park by the funny looking Subarus (Maps are on page 3 of this thread)
  6. Man we GOTTA see pics of those tires mounted on a 'ru ! I like asking dudes with rigs like that 'where do you wheel that thing?' Usually just get a funny look and a 'huh?' or the typical 'offroad? i paid way too much for all that stuff to get it dirty or break something!'
  7. RAGE IT! If you get it running tonight I'll come over and celebrate FO SHO. We'll have to get train wrecked and rev the ER27 a whole lot
  8. Never heard of them tires. What are you paying for them? Prolly wont need the spacers; wouldnt worry about it untill you put one on. Then you'll see right away if it's gonna rub on your strut. Just found a pic... wicked tread design!
  9. I don't think the suspension would handle even the Allison transmission from the M1 OKay back on topic.... Is it possible? Yes. Do you have the time, money, and know-how to make it happen? That's the real decision you are making here....
  10. It's a good story! I remember wiping off some dirty oily junk off some stuff in my engine bay while the engine was out. I noticed everywhere I wipped off the skin of oil and dirt.... bright shiny factory pant SHINED! Everywhere that was "clean" had started to atleast surface rust if not worse. I decided to stop cleaning that stuff off as it's doing some good work there!
  11. I paid about $70 for mine from Napa Autoparts. Been working great on my EA82 SPFI. I'd say Arch has had good luck with them since he just bought another one for a different Subaru but I'll let him speak for himself Sure beats paying $165 or $200+ that I've been quoted for an EFI Subaru and TurboEFI Subaru fuel pump.
  12. For sure; I always roll with recovery gear. Never know when you or someone else might need it I really don't think you'll get stuck. Those trails I marked is where I used to take my wagon when it was 2WD
  13. Your computer doesnt know or care what pump it is. That pump puts out more PSI and GPM than is required for your car so performance is not effected. Your FPR will regulate the pressure/gpm to the injector. Wire it up just like the Subaru one. Use an adapter to make the rubber fuel lines work. Then fire her up!
  14. Man I need some of those tricked out decals also! Thats a sweet wagon. Love that green and the graphics.
  15. Post some pics when they are mounted!
  16. No idea on part number or name. I'd hope they call it a skid plate or sump guard? Junkyard upgrade!
  17. I see plenty of old crapboxes that are completly rusted out and aren't subarus... or even imported. Don't want rust? Get a fiberglass car
  18. It is now... had to pass a tech inspection since then!
  19. About the size of a large snapping turtle shell Basicly it covers from the lower bumper back to the main crossmember. Side to side its just about as wide as the distance between the exhuast headers. Has large holes stamped out of it I guess for air flow and/or pulling the oil filter. Not much of a splash guard but certainly protects the oil pump and oil pan when offroading.
  20. Way to go Subie Gal (No not the pic in the upper right .... READ the 'PLUS:' headlines!)
  21. All in good fun I'm a big Jeep fan honestly.... actually toying with the idea of buying one and selling my Subaru
  22. 28.5".... now your talk'n If those rims really do only have 3.75" of back spacing you should fit those 10.5" wide tires on. Also ask SubaruBrat what backspacing is on his rims he bought from Sumit Racing. With the rims he bought he could go damn wide on the tires! Looked allover his site however and didnt see any numbers for backspacing on the rims.
