  1. I've noticed that the bracket the amplifier is mounted on must be grounded well. Check to ensure it's not all rust behind the bracket cuasing the circut to fail. I had to pull mine off and clean up the strut tower there where it bolts on to get a good clean ground again. Worth a shot while you are waiting for parts
  2. Argh the VTDC or whatever? Nevermind.... I'd drive one after an EJ22 swap
  3. Not really. They came with some cheezy splash guards off to the sides of the skid plate. Then there is the skid plate that protects your oil pump and oil pan. None of them do a very good job at keeping junk off your engine. You could weld a splash guard to your skid plate. Then it would be easily removable with the skid plate when it comes time for oil changes and other service.
  4. What's the backspacing on the rims? Why not go taller?
  5. Yep, Ford F150 inline fuel pump. You can find all about it with a search for 'ford fuel pump' here on the boards. Should even find a part #.
  6. Man I want a Libero Does it have dual range? I'd offroad it!
  7. You are more than welcome to come on down. Jeeps are cool too
  8. Might be too high profile right now. Some dork in a Jeep was down there and got stuck. It's officialy closed so ppl getting stuck down there would be a bad thing. Especially for the people trying to get it re-opend this spring :-\
  9. I wouldnt worry about the 2.5L at all. I can spin 29"s on dry pavement with my stock 1.8L
  10. Prolly relates to what he said about not selling Baja's in OZ? I spose no sense in making a kit for a vehicle they don't even have there
  11. Thats one sick Brat man; love the color. Those tires are way nice too.... so key to have nice tires like that. Wish I could wheel in my back yard like that!
  12. thanks thats more what I was looking fore All Talk !_!
  13. There is a transfercase it's just bolted onto the rear of the tranny and looks like all one unit. As for specfic details on how it precisly works? I'll let the experts handel that
  14. I'll post pics when it blows up :-p I'm interested in this draft tube but not quite sure about it. I'll read it a few more times but elaobrate if you could please. Thx
  15. Are the numbers out of the '92 FSM for a single range, push button? If they are for a Dual Range can you please post the numbers for H and L ? Thx !_!
  16. On my EA82 I ran the 2 lines from the heads to a T fitting. Then ran the single line that was supposed to go to the PCV valve to an small breather filter. I removed the PCV valve from the intake manifold and replaced it with a solid bolt; making sure the threads were correct and that the bolt was not too long. The intake manifold is now sealed. The crank case now vents to the atmosphere through a filter. I did this so I'm not sucking foul, oily, gases into my intake manifold and combustion chambers.
  17. That would be too cool! I'd watch it a few times that weekend fo sho
  18. Directions: Turitto's Pizza 6611 E Concord Blvd Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076 - 4201 (651) 455-6363 On I-494 exit off at Concord Blvd. Take Concord Blvd. south into Invergrove Heights. On your right you will see a yellow sign for Turitto's Pizza and Subs. On the left accross the rail road tracks is King of Diamonds. Pull into the pizza shop lot and park by the funny looking Subarus For those who are like me and prefer maps : (sorry about all the side scrolling) Scope: Narrowed down; note the exit is highlighted: Zoomed in. Note the offroad trails by DQ: That's a rough sketch of how the trails are laid out. It's more extensive than that but I can't remember very little turn and off-shoot trail. If the weather aint too bad we might just have to go and fling some snow!
  19. That sucks about the ski trip but hopefully some fun in the snow with Subarus will cheer you up
  20. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! Hopefully it will get here early next week then.
  21. Would be great to have you there... maybe you could tell them you will be at the party but want to attend this for 2 or 3 hours? Everyone that came last time is welcome; they all seemed to have some fun and we all got along well. Hardly any Jeep comments were made
  22. Jack it up and find out Check the whole tire for any deformations or tread seperation. Check for any play by trying to wiggle the tire twoard/away from you. Roll it by hand and see if you can 'feel' anything funny. Pull the tire off now and start visually inspecting your running gear. Make sure the castle nut is tight and all your hardware holding the caliper on and such. Good luck !_!
