pulls to one side in 4
My Brat does the same thing. Kind of makes it impossible to drive in 4wd. Not sure what the problem is, though, so I'm going to change tranny and rear end.

I, too, will attest to Shawn being a straight shooter. Alaways a pleasure doing business with him.

'96 Legacy Outback Engine R&R
northguy replied to AStevens's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXWelcome to the board. Sorry it is under these conditions. For my money, I'd look for a full service manual for your year of car. You should have either the 2.2 or the 2.5 (hope for the 2.2 - better motor, in my opinion). Haynes and Chiltons both have their shortcomings. Good luck with the fix.

Since it's posted in the older gen forum, that narrows it a bit, but not much. Any hints?

spark plugs....Q.
Be cool Phish, we all have to learn some time, and one way is to ask questions. That's part of why we exist. But it wouldn't hurt you, Moshe, to buy a repair manual.

SKA logo idea (edit: 2nd design in last post)
How would it look if you put the s at 10 o'clock, the k at 2 o'clock, and the a at 6 o'clock (around the Subaru badge) with the name at the bottom? Just an idea.

If you could flipit to the backside where the cargo cover would hide the guns, it would be a better idea.

2.2L engine weaknesses?
northguy replied to Chuck Charger!'s topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXThe 2.2, especially the early 90's, are as bulletproof as you can get in a Subaru engine, except for, perhaps, ea81's. (IMO)

stranded loyale home safe, sort of!
Check Snowman's last response about having the disty off a tooth in either direction. If you need help, give him a ring. He really is good and one of the reasons we are starting the SKA (Subaru Klub of Alaska) is just for this purpose.

Kelly, you slut! Sleeping with the enemy. Congrats. I know you've been looking for them for a while now. Do you still have that 5spd d/r tranny and drive shaft back in Haines? If so, let's deal.

noob question......
Welcome to the board. A 93 Brat - what year did they stop making Brats in the foreign market? - Since I don't know anything about Brats after 1986, I would have to suggest you look for an adjustment devise connected to the cable. If I understand the problem correctly, you failed because the parking brake on't hold the car and it needs to be adjusted/ tightened up. Try popping the console and looking for an adjuster there. Wish I knew about (and had access to) newer Brats.

Did you send a copy of this post to them to let them know? Sometimes the best thing to do is let a person he's doing a good job, and then he is doubly rewarded - first from your comments, and second maybe a promotion in the company.
