  1. Going by the other lockers on their site, somewhere between $800 to $1000 AU. They never are going to be cheap, but worth the money ... Ciao, Bantum ...
  2. If you can wait a bit longer, these will becoming out soon : Check 'em out & request one here : http://www.caplocker.com/ Cheers, Bantum ...
  3. Some WRX STI & early Leone / L series Rally cars got 'em ... Don't know what years though ... :/ Cheers, Bantum ...
  4. Just had a quick look & would say its a keeper, just need to find a price range that's right for you. How much are you looking at ? One thought was - Could you turn it into a wiki ? ( the free kind ) Don't know if that helps but ... :/ Ciao, Bantum ...
  5. Um - Which web site would that be ? Add : Sorry I've not seen / heard of it before & would like to know more ... Ciao, Bantum ...
  6. Giles in the UK has a fibreglass repo ... None if your after a chrome one though ... Cheers, Bantum ...
  7. Update ... Time for a bit of an update, as it's been a while since I've worked on this ... :/ Took the paper model out for its first showing the other day : Didn't win anything but ... Was doing some research on an updated front end, something like the look of the 'KenStyle' as shown elsewhere on here. Might see if I can get them loaded up on the model ... P.S. - I may also have found a willing hand to make the full size prototype ... Will post more when I have something concrete confirmed ... :icon_mrgreen: Ciao, Bantum ...
  8. Funds ... Thinking of possibly doing some crowd funding for this project, however there's a quiet a few sites out there so not sure about it ... What do you guys think would be best option ? Cheers, Bantum ...
  9. This might be worth a look at : Found here : http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39719 If your more adventurous, could even do a twin system based on rare Webber dual manifold ... Cheers, Bantum ...
  10. At some point you will have to replace the seals as they become brittle / worn with old age, but until then I would only replace the gear selector seal if it's leaking ... When it does come time to replace the rest of them, it would require a full strip down & would also be a good time to replace worn bearings + do a proper inspection & clean-up as well. I'm no expert but, just sharing what I've learned over the years ... Ciao, Bantum ...
  11. Was going say that hatch looks to good to cut up, got any plans for it ?
  12. Bent & Rusty panels will require painting at some stage ... :/
  13. Only options now would be to find a good second hand set, or get them remanufactured from somewhere in Asia ... ( there's a thread on here somewhere with details of the procedure, just got to find it again ) Add : http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/158865-feeler-ea81-reproduction-rubber-windshield-gaskets/?hl=%2Bwindow+%2Bseals&do=findComment&comment=1326247 Ciao, Bantum ...
  14. Are you cutting up the donor ? - if so, you could cut the front panel off the donor and use that ... Ciao, Bantum ...
  15. Concur - not a Subaru, more like a NSU Prinz : Found Here : http://ipocars.com/showroom/vintage_old_cars/page_128.html Cheers, Bantum ...
  16. You seem to have it nutted out - It would be something in the start circuit that has come loose / worn out like the ignition ... A simple fix may be to install a new relay as below : Otherwise maybe looking at replacing the ignition lock ... Cheers, Bantum ...
  17. My take on colours : Black - Earth / Ground. Blue - 12v Constant. ( For internal clock ? should be connected with fuse inline to battery ) Red / Blue - 12v Ignition ? Red / Green - 12v Accessories ? Grey - Powered Antenna ? ( not sure on this ) Black - Earth for speakers. Yellow / Black / Red - L,R + Center channels ? White cord - would be a link for other components as you suggest ... Big round black thing is for antenna ... Would need the model number of radio to be 100% more accurate + you could look up the manual also ... Cheers, Bantum ...
  18. Short answer : No ... Mid answer : There are some R160 LSD's that were used for rally, but extremely rare ... Long answer : There was somebody on here who looked into making a LSD to fit the R160 & heard there's another crowd funding mob looking to make one - but as far as I know nothing has eventuated as yet - so don't hold your breath as it might take a while ... :/ I've been told that the rear R160 center crown gear may fit in some transmissions, but can't confirm that ... Cheers, Bantum ...
  19. Might be this : axle assy manual trans - vs - axle assy auto trans, 3.0 liter Cheers, Bantum ...
