  1. Huzzah!!!! The beast awakens from it's slumber!!! Nice find
  2. There should be service holes in the cross member. They could be covered in nastiness though, try poking a screwdriver around
  3. http://www.hydrogen-first-aid.com/ This website has almost everything that you need to know This guy's build is the best i've ever used,
  4. Stoked that you're into this, HHO is super awesome and works super well in our small carbed boxer engines, it has the ability to work very well in FI engines but in order to do this you have to splice in an EFIE sensor that basically tricks your O2 sensor. http://www.hydrogen-first-aid.com/hho_efie.html this website has one of the best write ups i've ever found, their english is a little broken at times but who ever wrote it definitely knows their spoob
  5. Sweet ride, I had one that looked almost identical ( stilts and all) it was painted like a winabago though.im excited to see your progress, sounds like this thig is gonna be a tank by the time you're done with it. Also welcome to the forum
  6. It does work but it requires patience and trial and error
  7. It does, and I will do a write up on it when I have some free time from work, but what some people have done is fab another alternator bracket, or if you have ac you can delete the ac and put another alt in its place, same with power steering
  8. Exactly like that, research it a little, there's an insane amount of information. When I get home I'll post the links I've found to be the most helpful.
  9. Got myself a 92 legacy wagon ( thank you ferox) for around town/getting to work transportation, at least until I rewire my brats now crispy rad fan power lines. I also want it so I can trace down where some wires on my other hatchbacks ej swap go. Pretty sure I've entered the realm of way to many cars I also recently chopped my brats front apart and put tubed steel bumpers in the front and back I also a four bar of lights on top of my brat( thank you again belacane, they look bitchin)
  10. If you're a little ambitious you could install and HHO generator, It's not entirely simple, but it would only take a day or two to create and install, it's bumped my pony power and has consistently gotten around 40-43mpg, and I only have a small generator
  11. That's what I figured I also forgot to mention that she tried to start it after it died, and didn't stop until her battery was dead
  12. So I sold my friend this 99 forester about 3 months ago, it really really really needed it's timing belt changed, and I told her over and over and over again that I would do it for free if she bought the supplies. So about two weeks ago I get a call saying that she's stranded on the side of the road about 40 miles from portland after driv ing up to Canada and back( never changed the belts, I also didn't know she was going to Canada). Anyway before the car died she said she heard this crazy squealing and then the car died and did not start again. I think it's a skipped tooth since I took off the belt covers and the belt was still intact, but any advice would be much appreciated since I am more knowledgeable of the ea series cars
  13. ^^ you actually don't. But that's a different discussion for a different forum on a different day
  14. Are you sure? Because I was dead positive once that it wasnt it aswell, and then it totally turned out to be that switch
  15. Damn son!! You're getting the deals lately
  16. you could always try to find one of the older awd d/r trannies from, i believe an older RX?
  17. My brain hurts and i really need some help finishing my ej22 swap. I've already cut down the harness dropped in the engine and plugged everything in but haven't wired in power or the fuel pump, my harness is literally just plugged in to everything beside the "hard" stuff. I need someone to just point at things and show me where they go because wiring gets the best of me due to over thinking everything. I can pay in money, beer, or whatever it is you need to motivate you. I'm in Portland, OR btw I also work in the music industry so if there's a show you want to see in portland that isn't at the rose garden i can get you some tickets for your help
  18. There's a kind of 3d printing plastic that is super heat resistant and super strong. It's working temp is somewhere around 600*. just something to think about
  19. I agree that you may need to start on that sob. I know that pick n pull has a few of that model right now. you could get everything done in a day for under 200 (maybe 100) OH! can't forget a BFH for that front clip damage.
  20. If you upload them to photobucket you can post them
