  1. if you already have an amigo, why not go for its subaru brother the brat? obviously not what you're looking for though
  2. nice build! i did the dual side steps aswell, it freaked the spoob out of some dude walking down my street, Dude "BRAT's didnt come with two of those!!" me"yeah i know i swapped a second one in." " Dude "THATS FREAKIN SWEET DUDE" and then just walked off muttering about how cool subarus were.
  3. Okay so never going to tow that far with my brat again, it's a strange feeling getting passed up a hill by a semi truck towing 3 trailers, plus my fans completely burned out their wiring so i was trying my hardest to keep it away from the red line of death, and I made it all the way to scotts driveway before it started whining and i had to shut it off for a few minutes. Anyway!! I got the lift kit, and lost my phone while venturing in the woods with scott in his sweet chopped up gl wagon, but alas there is a karma god!! scott just messaged me saying he found it and shall mail it to me upon receiving the title that i stupidly forgot. Spent a few hours looking at scotts museum of chopped up and lifted subarus (Those cast aluminum lift blocks blew me away scott) drooling and planning my own creation, I'm thinking a nissan transfer case with dual subaru rear differentials to keep the squishiness
  4. sorry for the resurrection but did anyone get the exact numbers?
  5. Heading up to sjr's place to trade him a brat for a lift
  6. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/89301-82-brat-solid-axle-build-done/page-19?do=findComment&comment=1248593 Also if I was going to go through all the trouble of putting a Subaru shell on another frame I would rather build a subframe out of new steel that I knew wasn't going to fail. In the long run it's more trustworthy( at least in my eyes ) and it's still a Subaru

    new project

Hell to the yes ferp. Super excited to see where this goes
  8. from what ive recently learned, you have to build a sub frame to add on a transfer case
  9. Lol fair enough. As everyone else has said amazing build and extreme props to your fabricator. Hopefully I can see it in person some time
  10. Damn! Sorry to hear that. You definitely got me beat on that pack though
  11. Awesome!! That's extremely interesting. Definitely something I would want to try out down the line
  12. Sorry to bring an old thread up, but how much was your end price?
  13. AWESOME!!!!! That picture literally answered all of my questions Well at least the function side of things
  14. Okay so I kind of understand what it does but can not find any solid information on how to put one in or what exactly the benefits are. I tried searching on Google and here but can't find anything that makes sense to me
  15. just saw your ad on craigslist, are you in portland? if so i know where to get a parts brat for super cheap that you could mess around with for lift kits
  16. Added a light bar, and bolted in a tool box I found at pick n pull
  17. Finally convinced myself to chop my front end off for the new bumper Getting a 6 inch lift from sjr this Thursday in trade for a different brat I got in a trade
  18. +1 on the impact sockets and soda blaster
  19. So I've been seriously considering completely rhino lining my brat, has anyone done this to a Subaru? I know a lot of Tacoma guys do it but wanted some knowledge from a Subaru forum before I actually set out on this mission
  20. I would seriously buy that in a heartbeat. It's exactly what the Baja should of been.
  21. If I wasn't so busy I would, just to leave Oregon for a couple weeks Also I picked up some aftermarket bumpers for the brat today for only 40, dude seemed like a rad guy and even offered to help me put them on. Finally have a free day tomorrow so they shall be mounted and properly photographed, but for now
