subaru brat 1985 restoration
nice build! i did the dual side steps aswell, it freaked the spoob out of some dude walking down my street, Dude "BRAT's didnt come with two of those!!" me"yeah i know i swapped a second one in." " Dude "THATS FREAKIN SWEET DUDE" and then just walked off muttering about how cool subarus were.

Sumoco's Radical BRATacular Solid Axle Adventure
Okay so never going to tow that far with my brat again, it's a strange feeling getting passed up a hill by a semi truck towing 3 trailers, plus my fans completely burned out their wiring so i was trying my hardest to keep it away from the red line of death, and I made it all the way to scotts driveway before it started whining and i had to shut it off for a few minutes. Anyway!! I got the lift kit, and lost my phone while venturing in the woods with scott in his sweet chopped up gl wagon, but alas there is a karma god!! scott just messaged me saying he found it and shall mail it to me upon receiving the title that i stupidly forgot. Spent a few hours looking at scotts museum of chopped up and lifted subarus (Those cast aluminum lift blocks blew me away scott) drooling and planning my own creation, I'm thinking a nissan transfer case with dual subaru rear differentials to keep the squishiness

Toyota axles with leafs and a tcase?
http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/89301-82-brat-solid-axle-build-done/page-19?do=findComment&comment=1248593 Also if I was going to go through all the trouble of putting a Subaru shell on another frame I would rather build a subframe out of new steel that I knew wasn't going to fail. In the long run it's more trustworthy( at least in my eyes ) and it's still a Subaru

new project

Toyota axles with leafs and a tcase?
from what ive recently learned, you have to build a sub frame to add on a transfer case

T case questions
Okay so I kind of understand what it does but can not find any solid information on how to put one in or what exactly the benefits are. I tried searching on Google and here but can't find anything that makes sense to me

Sumoco's Radical BRATacular Solid Axle Adventure
So I've been seriously considering completely rhino lining my brat, has anyone done this to a Subaru? I know a lot of Tacoma guys do it but wanted some knowledge from a Subaru forum before I actually set out on this mission
