  1. That looks good. I hate dealing with rust when it gets that bad. It reminds me of when I had to take And turn it into Alot of sanding, boy were my arms tired The rim should look a thousand times better when they're mounted to the car. -Brian
  2. brad beat you will And his was better Unless you can provide proof... keep dreaming. -Brian
  3. Definatly a very clean install. It looks alot better with that black paint I would run it with no grill for a while, it looks pretty good like that. -Brian
  4. Is it the same off-white as our Faded RX's get? When I painted my grill white, it doesnt completly match the hood. And this was posted yesterday, plenty of time to get pix -Brian
  5. I cant wait to see it in action The more lifted subaru's the better. -Brian
  6. I hate those things, so i'll try to keep it as nice as possible Looks like it fit. -Brian
  7. Take that adapter to the yard with you, find a EA81 with a 2BBL carburator and unbolt it. Make sure that adapter bolts up, and if it does... grab that intake and take it home with you. You can swap the manifolds no problem. Its not impossible that Redline could have sent you a EA82 Adapter (OHC) and if thats the case, the bolt patterns would be too large. -Brian
  8. Ive seen that brat twice in person, both times it passed by me on the street on both visits i made to Seattle. I waved at your Brian -Brian
  9. Hey... it could be worse, I could have NOS stickers on my car. And if it were girly, i'd have Backstreet Boys and N'Sync stickers on my car. Pantera is far from girly my friend  -Brian
  10. Im going to design my own USMB decals. No offence, but I dont particularly like the ones floating around right now. I may just put Subaru4wd.net decals on and link from my page. Not quite sure yet. -Brian
  11. Yeah, ive been told it uses an EGT as well. Im not worried about that, will convert when I get my new downpipe. -Brian
  12. I have a Metallica & NIN decal too. I didnt want to clutter the car, i think these will do for now. The metallica one is an oldskool design, but its from the Hetfield design that was included with the box sets. Just metallica in writing, no skull. I'll find a place for them -Brian
  13. Couldnt help myself... had to add some decals to the car -Brian
  14. I can hear my BPV working, i like it better than the idea of having an obnoxious BOV. I used (3) 2 3/8" I.D. 90 degree rubber elbows and some 2 3/8" O.D PVC Pipe. Im having problems with the pipe staying together under boost, so Im going to re-do everything with some mandrel bends using 2 3/8" O.D. Stainless Steel. I'll also invest in some silicon couplers and maybe a silicon reducer. The turbo outlet is 1 3/4" O.D. IIRC The reducer im using goes from 1 7/8" I.D to 2 3/8" I.D. wich fit perfectly on the 90 degree comming from my turbo. -Brian
  15. I'll be recieving one shortly. Before I get in over my head, I thought I'd check here to see who knows what about em? I dont know anything other than it was used by a friend of mine for a race car of his. Until he upgraded to a Legacy, now he is going to let me use it on my RX. -Brian
  16. Another picture of Subaru Evolution This time its a trip to Oregon with Soobme & Adam NDJ. Same layout, unlifted... 3" lifted... and 6" lifted. Same trip... different shot: -Brian
  17. I saw that on craigslist as well. Thats a very sweet score, those rims alone are probably worth $300. -Brian
  18. Keith. If the problem has just started, then chances are its your CV joints. Bearings tend to show signs of failure before making clunking or clacking sounds. If you start to feel vibration at higher speeds, then i would call napa for a reman While your Doing the CV, might as well do the bearings -Brian
  19. The 15's will fit just fine w/out a lift. To keep your speedo correct i would advise getting a set of 195/50R15's or 205/50R15's. My RX has 195/50's on it, and they look great. No rubbing, no modifications, straight bolt on. Do make sure you get the peugeot lug nuts as well, it is vital that you use those with the 15" alloys you are about to get. -Brian
  20. I like this IC because its inlet and outlet are the same diameter as my intake. The plumbing is very simple and it's an effective intercooler. My hoodscoop completly engulfs the IC as well. -Brian
  21. I plumbed my BPV the other day. Just had time to snap some shots. It looks pretty crude, but it's all functional and that was my goal. THe car actually performs better than it did before (which was another goal). Version 2.0 will be stainless steel mandrel bends with a couple silicone couplers. You can see my epoxy on the bottom of the BPV, it came apart... i'll need to fabricate a gasket to seal it better and find a different way to attatch it. Stay Tuned..... -Brian
  22. You betcha Jared. If your traveling to WCSS, stop by and i'll follow you like I did on your way back from WA. Just dont get us pulled over again -Brian
  23. Yeah, i will actually have the mechanic here at my work weld a bead around all the tube. Will be alot cheaper than having a shop roll them. -Brian
