  1. That doesnt count. Just turned out that the negative battery clamp was too large, and alittle help from the wheel weight on my spare... problem solved I was expecting to at least change a wheel bearing somewhere in the middle of Oregon.
  2. Rob, where are your photos stored? Briggs, I cant find yours either.

  5. Thats awesome Ed! My Brat made the 1400miles round trip without a hickup. Of course, not as quietly as yours, but I was still suprised

  9. AWESOME!! Stevenson WA has a Free Wi-Fi program. Im chillin at the WCSS at my tent right now WOOOOOT!!! (no pix from me just yet)
  10. Im sure there is a law somewhere, and im sure someone cares. its not just CA. There are parking lights on vehicles for a reason. Anyhow, it wont take much to get your wiring figured out.
  11. We will most likely end up on 84 at somepoint, just not sure which direction we'll be traveling.
  12. Sunday is the day people pack and say their goodbyes. WCSS past we have had a RallyX on sunday's and the ones interested in attending usually stay late. But for us that have a couple days drive ahead of them, we're usually out by noon.
  13. oh, i was thinking metric when everyone started speaking in .XX, i guess you are right. Screenshot it now, cause it will probably never happen again
  14. So i got this MSD. I also picked up some 8mm plug wires and new rotor & cap for the disty. 3 weeks ago I installed new plugs, I will be pulling them when I install all these goodies to inspect them. It is feasable to increase to gap for a richer spark? Im not sure if the MSD coil is an actual upgrade, or just OEM equivalent and i should just keep plug spec's OEM as well. Just a curious question if anyone has actually measured and paid attention to a difference.
  15. There is documentation on the board about doing a SPFI conversion on the older EA81's, using a EA82 SPFI for parts. I would follow that guide, as it will most likely be the same for your EA82 when it comes to wiring harness & ecu. The carb motor has really no ECU at all that can control the engine. The SPFI on the otherhand requires a ECU in order to even fire. There's no way around it.
  16. You will get in more trouble for not having running lights than not using your front blinkers.
  17. You remember when I sunk my wagon right? Water will find ways to get into your car no matter how sealed you think it is. If anything, you want those holes to help drain the water
  18. Thats because nobody likes doing it, so the few that do wont do it for cheap.
  19. Thanks I bought it like that but I've seen it done on alot of toyotas with no, or aftermarket front bumpers. I think it looks great.
  20. I still have about 1/2 a gallon left, maybe less. I am thinking of doing the interior of my 4Runner in it. The texture would be near perfect. Its not as coarse as rhino lining, so it shouldnt catch & trap dirt as bad. However, im sure the entire interior of your subie will be a whole lot louder with it.
  21. I'll have my laptop with me. Shouldnt have problems keeping you up to date. Plus im sure one of us has your cell#
