Skippers right. An 87 GL-10 turbo with a carb would definitely be an oddity. The turbo cars are MPFI.. Provided that it really is a GL-10 turbo, there are a couple of things to look for . if there is coolant coming from around the Throttle body, it might be because of the little coolant hoses that run in and out of the base of the TB. they are kind of a pain to get to, and an even bigger pain to get fron the parts store(dealer only) I replaced mine with high pressure fuel line The best tool in your battle with the headgasket is going to to be a good repair manual.

XT6 FT4WD 5 Speed was available with a 3.9 LSD Legacy (Turbo I think) Was available with a 3.9 VLSD 3.7 LSD can be changed to 3.9. I believe there is a how-to in the USRM

1. Dunno 2. Its supposed to be that way 3. normal.. sounds like the light bulbs are out 4. normal. search for 'lifter tick' or 'ticking 5. Locker-no. LSD-yes.. search for "LSD" Heres a good LSD thread http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/usmb/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10952&highlight=LSD 6. sender is on the goose neck for the T-stat. Left side, right next to where you put oil in it. 7. Dunno 8. Higher compression + 12-14 PSI = BOOM! .. I wouldn't do it, but since its not mine... go ahead

Yes, there was a turbo justy in japan.. I believe it was called the REX.. mayber if you could find some rex badges they wouldn't notice that its left hand drive.. you could tell them its a JDM car...

Oh yeah.. hadn't thought of that.. I never did like obvious answers though.

Tex, did you buy one of the kits? if so, which one? -
Skip, I have seen a couple of the larger size Toyota superchargers on ebay, but the little ones from the MR2s are pretty tough to find.

I'm guessing that by CTS, he means Coolant Temp Sensor.. I recently assisted in a motor swap on a GL-10 turbo,, after swapping intakes and putting the motor in, we ran into some problems similar to what Andy is having. The owner took it to a shop and it turned out to be a boogered FPR. However, I don't find that to be a common problem and I really like Skip's idea of the hoses to the fuel cut switch and turbo light being swapped. Elegant, simple and free:D -

I have 14 inch pugs on my wagon. The wheels themselves are 1 inch bigger than stock.. that = 1/2 inch ride height increase.. it also opens your options up to larger tires. I use 185/75/14.. those give me an overall ride height increas of about 2 inches.. its the tires that make the difference, the lift simply facilitates bigger tires. with a lift and a little fender trimming, you can squeeze 28's under there.. some have even gotten 29-30 inch tires.but thats kind of a stretch I think. Lifts available at http://www.ozified.com Do a search, theres tons of info here. also, look in the photo album to see all the other lifted soobs on the board.

you guys don't understand.. $300 is a GOOD deal for those wheels for peugeot owners.. they like to pay $500-$1000 for the car and then anothe $5000 on parts....
-
Pug drivers will pay a lot for thier wheels.. beware, they also want a lot when selling them.. before we moved, my wife drove a 505 turbo.. I had networked with a bunch of pug owners on a board( not as good as this one) and for 14 inch steelies, the average price was $65 plus shipping... each.. so i bought my pugs from a soob board member for a lot less.. they seem to work just as well as the expensive ones

I admit, my subaru is ugly.. all of my subarus have been ugly... If I wanted truly hideously ugly, I would not have to go far.. I would just buy an XT or XT6.. The new design is just a little funny looking.. and funny looking is a very short throw from 'distinctive' Definitely a step up.. Time and sales will reveal all.
