i really like those rims and tires. I will tell u this, that is one of the cooler legacy's that i have ever seen! Get a skidplate, and hit the throttle a little harder, momentum is key

woah, u need to put on like a 3 or 4 inch lift! :-D If i were u, i would lift that puppy big and do a t case mod, and then run like 31 inch tires, it would damn near be unstoppable.

actually swampers are comparably cheap. mine were like 85 or something a piece. check 4wheelparts, not sure what they are now, but they were pretty cheap..

Hrm, not really a hole lot u can do to make it more peppy. Of course open up the exhaust and intake a bit. weber carb those kind of things. now u say trail riding i suggest lifting it and get some bigger tires and stuff.

i run a 4 inch mudrat lift, and 28 inch swampers. i got the front struts adjusted up about a half inch. i got 13 inches in the front, and a little over 13 in the back. stock springs, kyb struts.

i to have a come along with a couple tow straps, but the only time i have actually gotten stuck, it was dug to deep to really do much at all. I think a 6000 pound winch would be perfect for a subaru. They sell a 5500 pound winch in harbor freight for like 300 bucks also. Ramsey makes a 8000 pound winch that goes on sale from time to time at 4wheelparts, for 300 bucks also. i just need a bigger alt

i have found that subarus were really ahead of there time, my 85 has like air support in the seats and stuff. yes, folding mirrors also. crazy eh?
