If my memories serve me right (which it rarely does) you would be the first to try this. You will should be able to get help from a few with the schematics, but otherwise you would be on your own. Except for the few electrical guru's here that might be able to help.

Not very many have been done because of it being a PITA. You need to also find a turbo x-member, otherwise the up-pipe wont clear. You can hack it out with a sawsall, but thats a last resort. Will need to change the fuel pump for more PSI. Will also need to figure out the ECU/knock sensor and wiring harness. That one will be your biggest hurdle.

Make sure everything is hooked up but the coil wire to the disty. Hold the end of the coil wire that goes to the disty and have someone crank the engine over :-p Ok, I'm being a wise a$$. Dont hold the coil wire, stick a screwdriver in the end and ground it out. If you see spark when you crank the engine, its good.

We pretty much have it pinned down to the VR. That NEC SC is the likely culprit. And yes, there's more than one cap thats leaking I havent had any time lately to source parts, but I'm not the only one looking.

I've been meaning to get it on a relay, but for now it runs all the time. Sometimes when working on the car and I need the ignition on, I will disconnect it. Of course, having CRS, I forgot to re-connect it once. I looked at my temp gauge running higher than normal and went .....duh:rolleyes: It def makes a difference.

I have the EA81 elec fan on mine. Right now it will run (at speed) around 165deg. When the weather gets warmer and I'm in traffic it will get up to 190deg.

I only need a 20oz can.......the size of my morning mocha :-p And I guess if you dont make it to any meets, you dont have to worry about gas mileage

Yup had a good time. I was having old man problems (weak bladder and no bathroom:rolleyes: ) so I didnt get any of Dicks stuff.
