Sorry, but this has nothing to do with this thread. If you have a question please start another thread. -
Got some more newness today :-p 2.5" from the (gutted) DP cat back When he took the 2nd cat off from the DP section, little pieces came out. He tipped it down and molten chuncks fell out :-\ It was toast....gone. They refused to go straight back with no cat, even tho I said I had one in the DP. The boss said its a $75K fine if they get caught So I had to fork out $180 more for a high flow cat. So the whole job cost me $300 instead of the $120 it was going to. But oh, what a difference I also had them install a nameless SS muffler I got off of CL, pics to come tomorrow. But it still sounds like a Soob, not Honda rice. Throttle/turbo response is much better now. But I still have a problem, I think it may be the TPS. It stumbles bad at times. If you let off the throttle and give it gas again it will come back normal. I did find a leak on the TB, but its still having issues. I'll change the TPS in a few days. Once I get this fixed, its off to PIA for a dyno run.

You just use the EA82T up pipe, bolts right up. Well, almost. The mount holes in the flange and head are opposite, so you need to swap the studs. Thats it. The EA81T also has a pressure relief valve on the intake. If the wastegate fails to open, the valve will open. So if you want to up the boost, you may have to remove the valve and block of the hole in the intake. I never got a chance to do this on any of mine. Maybe because I didnt want to grenade the engine -

Depends on how your going to use it. Like I said, I put alot of hiway miles on it getting to meets and offroad parks. I dont know how many miles were on the tranny to begin with either. If you can find a low mileage 5spd D/R, use that for the swap. Scotties Cocktail for the tranny might be a good idea also, I think I might be doing that to my Hatch now. If its for a offroad beast thats not going to see alot of street miles, I say go for it. -
I bought some Rustoleum a few months back and hated it :-\ The paint would just splatter with no even film at all. I thru away a half can of it.

Heh, lets see you RallyX in a lowered RX :-p But yes, I will be upgrading next year to a EJ. And not because I'm getting older, just wiser Its pretty hard to be competetive in a 18yr old car.

EA81 Engine dissassembly made easy
Turbone replied to Scott in Bellingham's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
The law was passed because of all the crackheads ripping off and stripping anything they can get their hands on. Guard rails, park drinking fountains, you name it, the list goes on. At least some of them have fried themselfs trying to steal power/phone cable -
Need pictures and Videos for my web site,

did Subaru ever make this trans
Turbone replied to suberdave's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Meh, only when Subaru makes them -
Wow, didnt think I would get so many comments about the bra :-\ Thats on there for a reason. It covers a beat up hood, a dented right fender and other unsightly blemishes. These tires are for the street, not rallyX. I have seperate tires for that I filled in the lion emblem with JB Weld and then sanded them. If you get close enough, you can still see them. Been a relearning time for me. I've had the low profile tires on it for about a year and now I'm on the taller tires. Cant go around corners as fast as I used to:cool: And the car is dirty because I drive it everyday :-p Cant afford to wash it everyday too Where ya been Blake? Good to hear from you. Your old wagon is probably in the process of becoming another Japanese car right now

Got them mounted up on Monday, just took pics this morning. I had painted one of the pugs months ago and posted it here, got a good response. So I painted 3 more. I used Krylon and they have about 4 coats each. Problem with that is they take forever to dry. I had them in the house for almost 4 days and then went to clearcoat them. The 1st one I did was looking great, then the paint started crackling Flippin paint wasnt dry enough. Oh well, not stopping now Thier winter tires, ok? Cant tell unless you look real close.

Thats how your supposed to recycle Subaru parts (AL). No different then the commercial outfits. Gets melted down and sent back to Japan, to make more Subaru's :-p I think Scott will make good use of the stuff -

I think thats what the last tranny in my Hatch looked like. With the divorced t-case in it, its always in rwd or 4wd. With all the hiways runs to get to where I was wheeling, it finally took it toll. Man, what awful sound when those suckers go -
