  1. Glad you quoted me on this. I re-read it and just realized I made a boo boo:rolleyes: The caliper pistons need to be rotated clockwise. I need to proofread a little better.
  2. I painted the bumpers on my RX with Krylon plastic outdoor furniture paint. Its holding up very well, even thru many car washes and our liquid sunshine.
  3. Its less labor intensive if you cut off the mounts and reweld them to your exsisting swing arms. And you keep stuff stock that way. Thats a Qman inovation:-p Oh, and the ends of the sway bar need to be trimmed a little.
  4. Ceramic are the most expensive. I've never had them before, so I dont know much about them. They are meant to last a long time tho. The next level down are the semi metallic mixed with another compound. Long lasting with good performance. The cheapest are the organic. Last only a year and fade quickly under heat/stress.
  5. Not a good idea to gut the cat here, still have emissions to pass. The front brake calipers need to be turned in counterclockwise. They have the tool at almost all auto parts stores, its a little sqaure jobbie with nubs on it. If you want really good brakes, they will cost you around $40+/-. The semi good one are about $25+/-.
  6. Yeah, its just been a pipe dream of mine for years. Now that its been done in a Brat, wouldnt it be cool to drop a WRX into a Coupe?
  7. I'm not 100% sure, but you know, if your installing a WRX DP, a TD04 would have bolted right up to it. And with a little finnes'n, the x-over pipe would have bolted up also:grin: Or, I could be totaly out of my gourd, as I spent the weekend installing new carpet and stereo system in the RX:-p I shall be totally deaf in a couple of weeks:rolleyes:
  8. Got my cert back in the mid 90's when I was with the FD. Search and Rescue/Recovery. Havent dived in a long time tho.
  9. Whats that brush guard from? On the Eagle.
  10. I'm making this link to the misc sale forum because not everyone looks there frequently. I have a item that needs to go this weekend and it for locals only. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?p=603684#post603684 This can be removed on Sunday afternoon, or I'll remove if the item is picked up.
  11. Boy, talk about plain jane:rolleyes:

  17. Try posting it in the Wanted Forum.
  18. Lets start taking donations to get a full page ad in the Seattle Times for Zaps B-Day:-p Might as well put me on there too:cool:
  19. Hmmm, KIRO says the weekend is supposed to be nice:-\ Hopefully it will rain enough during the week to keep things sloppy:rolleyes:
  20. It must be all that RallyX'n;) Happy B-Day Ed:clap:
  21. My contribution to the art of redneck engineering. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=61289&highlight=fender+flares
  22. Unfortunatly, thats a model specific item. It has to come from a 3dr. I dont have a spare, even for my RX:-\
  23. Some of them have never been removed and are rusted on. Usually some PB Blaster or other solvent will loosen it up, but it will take a day (or more) of soaking.
  24. It may not fit. Even with the clutch fan removed there might not be enough room between the waterpump and rad to fit the fan. Thats why you need the accessory fan, its alot thinner. If you have the short shaft waterpump there might be enough clearence, but I'm not 100% sure of that.
