  1. I have to agree with RAugur. Thats the best laugh I've had in a while. Sorry it was at your expense:-p But you told a good story. And why wait on the covers?
  2. Check the timing belts, you might have a broken passenger side belt. Qmans Brat needs work. It might be more work than you could handle. And its not a daily driver.
  3. Theres mild to wild. If the close by area is anything like it was 6(?)yrs ago, we had a beautiful mudpit and some nice little hill climbs. Further out, outside of the ORV Park is National Forest with lots of trails/roads.
  4. HBD Mick. It only says 40 on your licsense, right?:-p And btw, thanks;)
  5. I'll bet you your next pay check (haha) that its the screw that holds the rotor on. Look for the screw around the bottom of the plate. And yes folks, I'm doing ok;)
  6. Bring them with you when you come to pick up the rear brakes.
  7. Nice to see a EA81T lifted....finally:headbang: Are you still running the AT or did you convert it? And this is the dancing banana you want
  8. Ok, heres a link. This stuff looks really close to original and should work. Theres also WS gaskets in the weatherstripping catagory, not sure if theres anything for 80's Subaru's tho. http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/ItemBrowse/c-10101/s-10101/p-100000234992/mediaCode-ZX/appId-100000234992/Pr-p_CATENTRY_ID:100000234992
  9. Urg, that was about 7yrs ago:-\ I have a piece of the weatherstripping and can go to JCW website and match it again I guess. I used to have a sample they sent with the part # on it but things get misplaced when you have to move a couple times.
  10. Pug 405's do not fit Subaru. Only 504/505 and I think 604.
  11. The WS from those years will fit fine. The 85 WS is the only one a little different than the rest. The top corners are a little more rounded. At least the one I had was.
  12. I know theres a source around here for the WS gasket, just cant recall who right at the moment. As for the quarter window trim, look in the JC Whitney catalog. I found some in there that is as close as you can get. You need to remove the old rubber from the metal and get the new stuff in there tho (lots of soap).
  13. Theres some trails/areas that we shared with the mc's. We had quite a good time in a mudpit and some hill climbs that were real close to the camping area last Show there. I know theres more extensive trails and offroad stuff nearby, we had a few people get.........uh.......misplaced after dark if I recall. Richie?
  14. Its a PITA to R&R, been there-done that. Remove the bumper to see if the mounts are buggered and maybe you can straighten some of it out. If not, just replace the whole thing.
  15. Ummmm..............................clean? Need to give that car some bling:burnout:
  16. Ok, heres the latest pic of my Hatch. Limping it back home with a blown rear CV and the tranny ready to blow too:-p Sporting a Warn 6000lb winch now:headbang:
  17. Hmmm, sounds like I might do some injector cleaning:rolleyes:
  18. Did you get a OEM t-stat? The temp difference on radiators is between top and bottom. Hot on top and cold on bottom means its not circulating and could mean a clogged rad. WW wouldnt hurt, but I would try and fix a couple of the other issues first. Replace the t-stat, flush the rad and maybe blow the fins out on the rad with compressed air.
  19. Sounds to me like air flow could be the problem. It has all the symptoms of a clogged radiator, but you say its new. AC condensor fins plugged up?
  20. I want to go, But it depends on a few things. Talk about it later.
  21. Do you own a Subaru? Dont think this forum will help much if not:confused:
