  1. I think I'm going to try and make this one.
  2. If I knew the year/model of your car, I might have it.
  3. I've been trying to find out the production # for the black 89.5 RX's since I've had mine. Thats about 4yrs now:rolleyes: Apperently, 50,645 Subaru's were produced in 1989. Dont have the breakdown tho. Found that info here....http://www.cars101.com/oldsubaru.html
  4. Just because your newest car has been running for 3mo without breaking down doesnt mean you get to pick on others that are having problems. Cause you know it might come back to bite you:rolleyes:
  5. Theres no fan at all on your rad now? All EA's had a stock electric fan on the passenger side. There were some EA81 models and a very few EA82's that had a secondary accesory fan instead of a clutch fan. Someone might have one or you might find one in a wrecking yard.
  6. I've researched but couldnt find anything. Maybe someone from SOA would know, or Corky.
  7. Nobody has worse luck than you Jeff, we all know it:lol: Your just jealous:Flame: See you when you get here Russ...
  8. Heres a few. A couple from the HP meet nack in 03.
  9. Thats looking really good Greg. I might have to pay him a visit;)
  10. When I need to buy OEM, its from them. I personaly pick up my stuff, I'm close enough. I consider Jason a friend and always get the internet price from him. All you need to do is mention that and you will get it.
  11. He will have to tell you that.

I have to agree with RAugur. Thats the best laugh I've had in a while. Sorry it was at your expense:-p But you told a good story. And why wait on the covers?
  13. Check the timing belts, you might have a broken passenger side belt. Qmans Brat needs work. It might be more work than you could handle. And its not a daily driver.
  14. Theres mild to wild. If the close by area is anything like it was 6(?)yrs ago, we had a beautiful mudpit and some nice little hill climbs. Further out, outside of the ORV Park is National Forest with lots of trails/roads.
  15. HBD Mick. It only says 40 on your licsense, right?:-p And btw, thanks;)
  16. I'll bet you your next pay check (haha) that its the screw that holds the rotor on. Look for the screw around the bottom of the plate. And yes folks, I'm doing ok;)
  17. Oh yeah, forgot about that one. Where did it go?
  18. Bring them with you when you come to pick up the rear brakes.
  19. Nice to see a EA81T lifted....finally:headbang: Are you still running the AT or did you convert it? And this is the dancing banana you want
  20. Really? Thats even in my price range:-p
  21. Ok, heres a link. This stuff looks really close to original and should work. Theres also WS gaskets in the weatherstripping catagory, not sure if theres anything for 80's Subaru's tho. http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/ItemBrowse/c-10101/s-10101/p-100000234992/mediaCode-ZX/appId-100000234992/Pr-p_CATENTRY_ID:100000234992
  22. Urg, that was about 7yrs ago:-\ I have a piece of the weatherstripping and can go to JCW website and match it again I guess. I used to have a sample they sent with the part # on it but things get misplaced when you have to move a couple times.
  23. Pug 405's do not fit Subaru. Only 504/505 and I think 604.
  24. The WS from those years will fit fine. The 85 WS is the only one a little different than the rest. The top corners are a little more rounded. At least the one I had was.
  25. I know theres a source around here for the WS gasket, just cant recall who right at the moment. As for the quarter window trim, look in the JC Whitney catalog. I found some in there that is as close as you can get. You need to remove the old rubber from the metal and get the new stuff in there tho (lots of soap).
