  1. Does it seem like the tranny is moving when you shift? That could be a problem if not corrected soon. You need to get under the car (use jackstands) and try and move the tranny up, you can see the mounts and be able to tell if they are bad. If its the driveshaft, its a inconvience mostly. But if left that way it could eventually affect the bearings in the rear diff and tranny.
  2. Nope, its the real thing. Just saw it again:-p About a 2ton boulder squishing a EA82 wagon. Theres another scene where one of the Barbs is sitting with some kids, fishing. He's dipping into the bait can, pulling out a handful of worms and stuffing them into his mouth:lol: I love that commercial.
  3. Great pics guys. Zap, I've been trying for years to get a shot of Rainier with the moon in it. Ed, what kind of camera did you get?
  4. Check the tranny mounts, make sure they are tight. Might try and rotate the driveshaft 180deg also.
  5. Yup. And I would NEVER trust a odo reading from a used car dealership:rolleyes:
  6. Good to see you again Austin, wish I could have hung around longer. Glad you were able to find the others too.
  7. Well, I never came back to the Board to see your last post:o At least we got to say hi before I had to leave. Saw Ed on the way out also. Hope you all enjoy the weather, its at least 10deg cooler up there. Got my "Redneck Fender Flares" installed, but never saw the County Mounties today. Better safe than sorry tho.
  8. Good luck getting that hardend steel bolt out:banghead: Your heads sound like they need to be resurfaced also.
  9. Not sure what the round one belongs to. But the green one is for checking codes and the white one clears them.
  10. I'll be leaving my place around 10am and stopping at the Chevron in Wilkeson approx 10:30 to get my pass and some munchies. If your coming up 410, I advise stopping at the Safeway gas station in Bonney Lk. Gas is real cheap there, I pay $2.94gal. See you all up there:headbang:
  11. Nicely done:D I assume the tires in the pics are for street use. Otherwise it would just fling the meat right off the wheels. As light as the car is, I bet its a bear to get a hook up.
  12. If the top of the dash is cracked, you can get dash covers on Ebay for around $30US
  13. Dont need struts anymore, but I could sure use the front carpet out of the sedan (grey?) or from the wagon. And if the rubber lines to the rear discs are not cut, I need those also.
  14. Bummer. Guess you will be looking far and hard for those RX fenders now, eh? I havent seen any 3dr coupes in the yards here for a while, but I'll let you know if I do. Btw, your stable looks alot like mine:D Just different colors.
  15. What kind of abuse are you subjecting it to? Water, dirt, etc? Do you lube the shaft (oops) before you put it together?
  16. Erik, come on up. Theres plenty of roads for stock stuff and there should be enough seats to ride along with someone on the gnarly stuff. I should have a seat open:brow:
  17. Like Gary said, OEM only. But, I would try and find a shop that does quality work and see if it can be rebuilt. If its substantially cheaper than new, it would be the better choice. I would think if its within $100, I would just buy a new rad. I got lucky a while back and found a newer rad in a XT6 in the local PAP and have had no probs yet.
  18. Now thats recycling:clap: Keeping 2 cars running from the death of one:headbang:
  19. I need to put my fender flares on, hopefully the other stuff not road legal wont net me to big a ticket if I get stopped:rolleyes: The winch is going to have to wait a while to be installed. Just hope I dont need it:-p
  20. Wish I could be there, HB used to be in my stomping grounds:headbang:
