  1. Maybe for the Lifted Group, something more utilitarian like Alum would work. I wouldnt mind:brow:
  2. I have a few bad ones, but I suggest you use your bad ones for guinea pigs first before asking everyone for thiers. You need to have your cousin maybe fix one or two also. Then I think people will be shipping you so many your cous will be very busy.
  3. True, he traded it before I could get the funds together. I think his board name was mtfabman, his name is Mike. He ended up trading it for a 86 lifted Hatch. And last year I traded him my Mazda truck for the lifted Hatch. From what he said about the XT6, it was a bear to drive off-road. The hood is to long to see objects in front of the car and you had to stick your head out the window to see where you were going.
  4. This is what I made for my 6's. Still have room for knees and can open the glove box enough to get things in & out. Both holders are adjustable. Should work on other consoles as well.
  5. Miles, I actually met you after WCSS5 at Zaps place. You were passed out on his lawn in the backyard:lol: I left before you woke up.
  6. When you take it out to clean, and the gear is "apple-cored", even a replacement will be temp. The problem is in the front diff with the gear that drives the gov. You will be looking for another tranny for a permanent fix.
  7. He needs to limit his transportation to the 2 wheel pedal variety:rolleyes: Less moving parts.
  8. Yes, its family oriented. But there are usually several "Bachelor Camps" where things happen that wont be mentioned here. Are we enforcing a (noise) curfew this year? I remember the last show there, there was a certain camp that was quite loud way past midnight.
  9. Ok, try this one. http://home.earthlink.net/~spioworks/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/dash.jpg
  10. I think after 5mo, he might have got it figured out:horse: But then again............
  11. Its a common problem. The common fix is a new Coil.
  12. I dont keep very good track of these things, I would have to look at the registrations to verify. But I'm going to guess:rolleyes: 86 GL-10 Turbo Wagon - 4.5yrs? 86 EA81 Hatch - 9mo? 89 RX - 2.5yrs? 89 XT6 - 2.3yrs? 89 XT6 - 1.5yrs?
  13. Hey that deflector looks like it would work on my Harley. You can see better with bigger lights, thats my philosophy.
  14. Got something else in mind. Were'nt you the one that said you wont pay for a hat if its over $20?:-p
  15. What are you laughing for? You had one last year:D
  16. Nothing fancy or anything, just straight up and simple.
  17. Most likely bad grounds. My 86 turbo wagon does it also, but not to that extent. The more accessories you turn on the higher it goes. Oh, and its not a good idea to turn your engine off at high temps. You need toleave it running and hose down the rad to help it cool before turning it off. You could easily crack/blow something.
  18. Cutting away certain areas of the dash might be needed to fit the tube in tight. But that just removes more weight:burnout:
  19. The time off. The willingness to drive several hundred miles to get there. Not be afraid to mingle with other fanatics (and not make too big an arse out of yourself). But seeing how your not afraid to ask a question like this, I dont see any of these requirements being a problem for you:grin: And maybe in your case, a chaperone:eek:
  20. Not sure on how you would go about gapping the wires in the cap and coil:confused: Your problems could be the timing, the cat converter, or whats plagued older Subaru owners for years. A gutless car.
  21. Here you go. Theres many more of us in the PNW, maybe we can try and get a group shot at WCSS8.
  22. Looking good. But wrong font:-\ Keep trying, I think we are getting close.
