  1. Hey Glenn, this is me whooping you
  2. Pre 1/01. I just made it. And I'm real close to turning over another 1K.
  3. Looks to me like the eviction was successful
  4. This should be called the "Mid West Washington Meet". North West Washington will put you up in Bellingham.
  5. Ok, where'd you get them and how much? Glad to know they fit in the XT's
  6. It certainly could be the difference. There is quite a diff in weight between the 2. Your freinds 4wd could also be suffering from tuning issues also.
  7. Have the rotors cleaned(turned) and mic'd, they might be salvagable. You can get good quality pads to go around, they usually run up to $40 for a set (front or rear).
  8. Another blasphemy Just doesnt do me at all :-\
  9. Make sure you have the right seal. The part # is 8067 38070.
  10. You have removed the timing belt covers, etc?
  11. You may have to remove the cylinder to get the key out. Its a PITA, sorry. What you could do in the meantime is remove the plastic cowling from around the steering colume and on the right side of the ign you will see the relay. Theres 2 small screws that hold it on, remove these and it will come off. You can then turn the cars ign on and off this way and yes, start it also. I've been driving my 86 wagon like this for a while cause the cylinder crapped out on me. And I've been to lazy to fix it Replace all the plastic and tuck the relay under it but with easy access so you can turn it.
  12. What engine is this Ea81 or EA82? I dont recall any metal rim inside either one but I also dont think the main bearing can slip forward like that either. How far out is the seal sticking? The ones that I have replaced on EA82's go flush.
  13. Might start by replacing the fuel filter. Drivers side firewall, make sure you crimp the hose or remove the fuse, its high pressure.
  14. Test the circuit just before where the old trailer harness was and after it. This will tell you if the wire is bad at that point.
  15. The correct mod here is what WJM suggested. Replace the clutch fan with electric. It mounts right to the rad, and its alot easier to remove.
  16. Tim, check the date on his post. He's still around, I see him on MSN occasionally.
  17. Date and time? And I assume you mean the left coast?
  18. I would inquire more about thier "registry", maybe have a look at it. A Brat GL will not work as they have thier own market. Which is considerably higher that a Wagon's.
  19. Get a JY coil and see if it still has the problem. Not common to have 2 disty's go bad in a row.
  20. Aarons Auto Wrecking in White Center. He's in the phone book.
  21. Dont forget petting. They like to be fondled
