  1. Ah, c'mon Pat. I know alot of people here that have had one (or two) Soobs, that deserve that label once in a while. Me included:-p But welcome to the board, Ron. For a minute there I thought you were someone I used to work with and he actually had a Subaru at one time.
  2. I believe I have the wiring diagram also, but I need to double check.
  3. But you got dual range trannies in more Soobs than us, and didnt you also get Twin Turbo's?
  4. Gary, OZ got imported Soobs that we never got. They just might have something that was JDM that made its way there. If it was me, I would be looking into some bigger rotors to go with the larger brake calipers. I have new brakes all the way round on my XT6 and when I tap the brakes your eyes almost bug out.
  5. The fenders are easy to replace, takes about a hour each if you've never done it before. The ign lock is another story. You might try some grafite, it comes in a small tube. It might work for a little while, but eventually the lock will need to be rpelaced. You also might get lucky and find a muffler in the wrecking yard, I dont think the Troopers will let a patched one get by.
  6. You guys think your puny TD04 turbo upgrades are cool, eh? This is what we need to upgrade to! http://www.brianmacy.com/multimedia/daldyno04.wmv This may be OT, but I dont care! Btw, the site is http://www.brianmacy.com/horsepowerconnection.htm Check out the Nova, its pretty sweet. 1000hp+
  7. I think all XT6's have the squirters, at least mine do. Didnt you get them in NZ also?
  8. Theres 4 within a mile of me (2 in my driveway:-p ). One at Qmans and the other at Left Coasts. Theres another running around town thats white and for sale, but I havent seen it parked yet.
  9. Bucky92 got one with her 82 GLF when she bought it a few months ago. She had pics of it too. But yeah, its a pretty rare item.
  10. Maybe a couple of those elusive Sammamish Trolls:lol:
  11. You have my tentative attendance.
  12. Yeah, I do. But your going to have to wait till I get my desktop puter up and running. Its still packed up, so to speak:rolleyes:
  13. Either way, its going to be a drive for some of us. Rieter Pit is as far as I will go north.
  14. Do you have a definate place yet? If I get my rear diff welded in time, I might come.
  15. I had back surgery last Sept, otherwise I probably wouldnt have asked for help. I'm pretty stubborn.
  16. You need to quit spending so much time on the road, thats why your back is bothering you;) Do some real grunt work, get some exercise:brow:
  17. Wonders never cease:grin: I knew you and the car would make it, no matter what Sparkster said;) Hope you can make it down for the show next year.
  18. You bet it would! But do you have something to tow it with? My Turbo Wagon is doing ok pulling the ute trailer, but its not going to pull a tandem
  19. If anyone would like to help this weekend, I need to dismantle the storage shed at the old house. Then I think I'm done:-\
  20. Its alot like the one I had. Had to drop another engine in it, installed a Weber. Converted it to 5sdp MT and the Enkies finished it off.
  21. Take another look at the car, closely. The roof has been cutout. I think this guy has done this before:rolleyes:
  22. Glad you made it home ok Pat. Ed showed up later in the afternoon today, so him, my BL and I got the rest of the parts loaded. It took 2 trips each with the trailers. Oh yeah, Mikey showed up also, helped me get the AC setup for the house. I still need to get the shed moved this week, and I'm already wore out:-\
  23. Hey Ed, any time around noon. If the Brat can make it, bring it. We can get alot of the smaller stuff in it. I have 2 utility trailers for use, its going to take a couple trips each. Now I need to find a place for it all. I need a warehouse.
  24. If your strapped for 4 and your not a perfectionist, I say bondo it. A shop is going to charge alot for a cutout and replace, its very time consuming. Just make sure you sand it good, use some POR15 to stop the rust and repaint the corner.
