  1. Did the problems start with the o2 sensor change, or was it running like crap before that?
  2. I would first go back to the tire store to make sure they dont have it. If they dont, I would retrace the route you took on the way back and look for it. That centercap is going to be hard to find.
  3. I had this feeling................. Welcome back Zap
  4. The year has nothing to do with taking it to a shop and having the axles done. This is a job done by a average Joe mechanic. On the other hand, a turbo wagon for that price seems a little suspisious to me. Check the oil and water and make sure they arent mixed. Ask about how the car was running for the owner to determine the turbo was/is bad also. If it blows white oil/smoke out the tail pipe, the seal is gone on the turbo. Bearings arent normally changed when doing axles, they will last for a real long time, unless the seal is bad and water/dirt gets in there contaminating the bearing. Good luck on it, to bad you werent closer to this side.
  5. Huh, I've been on dial up since the 80's. I wouldnt know how to handle DSL
  6. You betcha! Does anyone know the Groundskeeper?
  7. You read my mind Mike! Cant use the name, but she has the spirit She just needs a nickname............. Q2?
  8. Our fridges are big and mostly white. A white wagon is refered to as a fridge.
  9. Hmmm, what did we all do before we had the Net? Qman had a interesting comment the other day when the Board was down. "Lots of work getting done around here today"
  10. I suspect your crank pulley. It happened to me, took me a while to figure it out. With the hood up, rev the engine and watch the pulley to see if it spins at the right RPM's.
  11. He brought it over to my place today. Man, what a sweet Soob Lots of detailing done to it, lots of suspension goodies. Dad is liking Imps more and more
  12. Haha, thats funny. Not to many Soob owners I know have a wad of c-notes to flash around. Maybe a c-note wrapped around a bunch of 1's:lol: Btw, anyone leaving late Sat morning from the SeaTac area? Thats about as early as I can get going
  13. Heres a link to the Park Services areas for the south Oly region. WA Parks
  14. Hey, this is Washington, what do you expect? They are going to make a bundle too Last years Show was at a venue where there werent to many other non-soob owners. This year it might be a little different because of the size of the campgrounds. I dont think we will be the only ones there. What I'm trying to say, (and dont get me wrong, I trust most of you) no matter how much you trust the people attending, never leave anything of value in plain sight and in easy reach. Temptation is a powerful thing.
  15. Check all the grounds in the engine bay. There is one to the rad support from the engine by the battery, theres another from the tranny up to the tire support. Make sure theres no corrosion in the wires themselfs.
  16. Looks like you 2 need to swap vehicles You do better driving the others car
  17. My 86 Turbo Wagon has rpm sensor, it will be beep if the rpm's get to high and you are supposed to shift. This is on a digidash.
  18. Carbed 2.0? Dont think they even make one. Its real hard for us to give you any info if we dont know the year of the engine or what car it came out of. You need to look at the engine in the area of the front passenger side and look for a stamp in the block. This should tell you the engine class.
  19. Might try this person for a alternator. Tapper
  20. The computer is under the rear package tray in the trunk, on the right side. This sounds more like a electrical problem than a compression one.
