  1. Without seatbelts in the back, you could get a ticket.
  2. Oh snap.... Noticed this when I was re-installing my trans. Had a diff core laying around with a good bushing, so it was replaced. And while I had the diff out replacing that, do you think I stuffed it back up there looking like this?
  3. I'll move it to General, you'll get more hits there.
  4. What year and model is it?
  5. Yeah, I cant afford a nice aftermarket bellmouth DP...so this is the next best thing
  6. Well, I've been at it again (cleaning). I figured since I had the DP out, I was going to gut the cat. And of course, I had to polish the sucker
  7. I dont want to be halfway to Cashmere and have it go out on me :-\ And if something does happen, I will have time to fix it before the Show.
  8. Thats not a coil problem. I suspect your Autozone FPR is the culprit.
  9. Got the trans installed yesterday, thanks to capn_r for the help. Need to button things up and then it will be fingers crossed till Aug 20th
  10. I would almost travel to KY to get another nice convert (if the price was right). If this was black, it would be a done deal.
  11. He's located in NZ, so its probably a AUDM 2.0 Lots of info here on engine builds for the 2.0 http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=144
  12. Awesome! I could use the company (grunt grunt)
  13. Ok, I think I'm done cleaning this lump... Time for it to go back in (and keep my fingers crossed )
  14. Yeah, that would be a loooong drive As much as I have to tear into this car, I want it clean when I do. I dont like reaching in to do something and pull my hand out all black and slimy.
  15. Still working on it. Bellhousing
  16. Sure, I only charge $20hr and my choice of beer. I use the purple cleaner you can buy at the auto stores. Then rinse with water and finish off with the wire wheel and a quick spray of clearcoat.
  17. Have you timed it lately?
  18. Been working on the replacement tranny.
  19. Mine just had a standard metal toggle switch. Up was top up and down was top down. Sorry, no pics.
  20. I dont think mine does, its a 92. What year is yours, if you know? Got the bad trans out today, now I need a couple days break The replacement is getting a scrubbing.
  21. Usually only the turbo models had 4.
  22. The hub with the washers on it doesnt look like a XT6 hub, besides having the outer race still on it(?). The rusty hub looks like a XT6 hub to me. Thats a strange morphadite setup for sure.
  23. Well, it took me a while to figure out how to setup mine. I did use regular inkjet paper (thick!) and it was hard to get light thru it. But I sandwiched the original in 2 pieces of glass - 11x8, then taped the blank paper on top. I used a florescent light and set the glass on top. It was still fuzzy, thats why I dont have any sharp lines. If I had some thinner paper it would probably look sharper. Thinking of doing my hatch next.
  24. I sold it to someone who could take real good care of it.
  25. I suggest you pick yourself up a fire extinguisher now
