I havent been there in about 6mo, so maybe Jason has moved on or to another Dept? And seeing how I have CRS atm, I cant remember the name of the other guy in Parts. But I wouldnt hesitate in ordering parts there, they have all the old books and know how to read them. -

Ah, so I'm not the only one under the weather :-\ I picked up a stupid cold a couple days ago, but the cold meds work ok. I need to pick up a fuel filter and I'll be ready to roll. -

So true. How long and how much $ and time have I put into my RX, to be constantly told to EJ it? Its your car, your money. Dont worry about what others think, its the end result that counts. -

Replacing the carpet in an '86 GL Hatch
Turbone replied to Aviator's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
The major part of it goes from the firewall to right under the back seat. The cargo area is separate. Before you go out and buy stuff, remove what you have and take it to a car wash. Pull the insulation off the back and use the high pressure hose to clean the carpet. Let it dry for a few days and then vacuum it. You might be surprised on how clean it will be. -

I havent touched any of my stuff yet :-\ Might do some tomorrow and during the week. Not much to do tho, just hook the battery up and air up the tires. Might need a fuel filter too. -
I got some work done on your stuff too
-
Get over here and mud it for me :-p Yes, of course it will be ready. Got warmer weather coming all next week, so I can get everything painted. Sanded....repainted....I hope thats it I have to be sure to take my time when putting it all back on, dont want to scratch anything. Then I need to detail/buff/polish it all.

I'm leaving Fri also, but not sure on the exact time. Once we get closer to the Show time, I should know for sure. -
Yeah, the lip is stock. I know where I'm going to set the next fire The wiring is the same, but nothing else is. The holes dont line up and the pins that the screws go in on the mirror are to long and need to be cut. Then the triangular plate needs to be bent to form to the RX door.

Its not that bad But it has ran for over 2yrs without mechanical issues. A bit longer than other modified (or stock) EA82T's

Ziiing!

I do every year about this time. Hope it wins again in its class

Just a heads up on the EA81 PS your using with that tire size. Mine heats up after a short time with 30in tires. It might be a good idea to add a small cooler to it (which I have yet to do on mine ) But I cant wait to see some action shots

Already been done. Wire brushed all the rust off, hit it with Rustoleum primer then used some industrial undercoating. Russ, do you think I will still have low spots even if I use the filler?
