  1. Are you going to be vacuum forming it? I wish I had a gen1 cause I would definately buy one.
  2. Looks like lots of work. What color is it going to be? Good job by the way.
  3. Good luck.I am sure I will see you on the west coast again sometime.I kinda miss living living out that way. Keep driving suby's!
  4. I believe the coolant temp sensor you are looking for is located under the intake manifold on the coolant passage/pipe that connects to the upper radiator hose. You will have to look behind & below the intake manifold to find it.Should be visible from the back side.
  5. Those are great pictures.I really like that old wagon flying through the course. Get 'er done!
  6. Exactly. You keep making that thing look better and better.I like the fog lights/driving lights up front with that black bra. I am really glad to see that car doing so well after you fixed that cam gear ect. You should be proud it has come along way.
  7. Sounds like a fun project. What size engine does it have?50cc or greater?
  8. The carbed manifold and the spfi manifold are not the same. The bolt pattern on the spfi intake(on the throttle body area) is quite a bit different.I am going to be doing this mod as well so I think it is well worth the efforts from what I hear.
  9. I have a set of rx springs that aren't mounted to anything. If it helps I can measure that later on. -Also please don't cut rx springs to make them shorter. That would make a few rx lovers sad.:-\
  10. The spinny spin type hubcaps are kinda funny too.I have seen a couple fly off on the highway!
  11. Very nice!Looks excellent.Your brumby doesn't look small at all next to the other suv's there.
  12. Most likely it is a large valve head.I think 83 1/2 was the time they started to change over to that when the hydro ea81 was starting to be introduced. No definates unless you can see the valve covers and they say the "Do not adjust" sign on them.
  13. If you have 390mm rims I know that michelin makes a couple tires that will fit that.I think I remember hearing that before. They may be a rally tire of some sort.
  14. Are you looking for the rims or the tires to put on the 505 pug rims?
  15. Ya I've got those parts on my parts weber.Pm me with your address.
  16. Nice and clean Russ! Looks great.
  17. If I had my choice on a diesel to throw into a ea82 chassis it would be the one built by toyota that they put in the 4wd trucks in the mid 80's.Not common in the usa but it is a stout engine.I guess the vw wouldn't be all that bad if you gotta go diesel and you know that engine pretty well.
  18. Ya there is a seal there.I am not certain off the top of my head as to its name but I think it is called the pilot shaft seal.I am pretty sure you have to split the tranny slightly to get that one out of there.
  19. What part/screw are you looking for exactly.I have several webers and one I have for parts.I could send you the screw no problem just let me know its location on the carb ect.
  20. Wow a brand new engine in the crate! That is amazing especially an engine like that! If I got an engine like that I think I would name it and talk to it everyday and ask how it was doing!
  21. Got it General.Love the pictures of the disty.
  22. Those are the same alloys I have.Good deal for $50! They are definately not steel. You can use regular lug nuts if you want but you may have to grind them a bit.I haven't done this myself since I was fortunate enough to get lug nuts when I bought my rims.
