1990 Legacy, alternately revs and almost dies on cold starts
Jerry DeMoss replied to zyewdall's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXI would start by replacing the idle air control and then if that doesn't help move on to the temp sensor on the water cross over pipe located below the intake manifold.

strongest, easiest, most common peugeot rim for quick lift?
14" or 15" are both easy to get tires for. You are just fine with either really. Are you looking for tires with agressive tread or all around use?

Delta Cam roll call
I have a hp 272/260 grind cam in my ea81t coupe. I have built a couple ej25 sohc engines with the torque grind and rev grind and both are fantastic.

Carb'd EJ?
Hey Monstaru that looks alot like something I have been dreaming up for a carbed ej swap with dual 44 IDF's. Down drafts instead of side drafts using modified ej18 intake spacers modified to fit the webers. Good pictures gives me a few more ideas.

I want my EA81 to have HP! Anyone got links?
For starters: Port and polish: A few people including myself do those Valve springs: Ram performance for higher strength Cam: Delta Cam Weber carb is a good start and definately good for more power as well as get your heads decked .020" to .030". That should get you headed in the right direction.

Carb'd EJ?
Working on another carbed ej swap myself. Carbs are awesome if you do it correctly and don't half a** the project. I love them personally but most of you allready know that.

Justy 4x4 question
Ya justy's are a largely abused car. Sad but true. And yes contrary to what most people say the justy did come as a 4wd car with ecvt. I have an '89 justy just waiting for me to spend some time and give it some love to bring it back to life.

Jerry DeMoss replied to codytotheh's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXYes it can and look very nice as well. There is one running around town where I live with a obw bumper. It is a '95 sedan.

84 Brat Ghost Fuel Problems
Sounds as if your carb may be a little plugged with crud. I think a weber may be in order but you are doing what I would do if I was in your position. You may just need to put some seafoam in the tank and let it run through and see if that helps.

Concensus on why my Weber's acting up?
I think float also. If you have a brass float in it, I wonder if one of the floaty parts on the float has a hole in it? May be solved by a new float. Also I would see if both of the floaters are in line with the one another. Let us all know what you find when you open it up and have a look.

1976 wagon in colorado junk yard
I had to put the word out. Made me a little sad to see it there at the yard today. It is a 1976 4wd wagon. Orange in color and not in the best shape but there should be a few good parts left on it. Not sure what engine it had though. I am thinking a 1400 and it wasn't a dual port engine. Anyone needing parts just let me know I will try and assist you. It is in the U pull N pay off of 66th and broadway.

Direct bolt on turbo?: ea82T -> ea81T
Right now on my ea81t I am running a ported ea82 turbo and ported ea82t exhaust manifold. I am pretty sure you won't have any issues. I have compared them side by side.

EA81/EA82 hawk pads?!
I tried the ea81 size pads in my old hatchback I used to have and they stopped awsome but they didn't fit quite right in the brackets. May require a little extra shimming or something. Good brake pads though.

d/r label for center console
Best thing I could suggest is to find one at the junkyard and then spray with some 3m adhesive and push in place.

Best 14mm tool for removing plug for block heater
Ya as bheinen74 stated as he suggested sounds like the way to go. Also I might add the ej block plug on the bottom of the drivers side near the water pump is the same as the block plug on the ea81 block. I know this cause nearly all the block plugs on the ea81's I have taken out end up getting destroyed slightly in the process.
