YEP, I'M YELLING ABOUT IT!

 

We get our first snow of the year in western Washington on November 1st. And it's still snowing. Only a couple of inches so far but it's still snowing.

Yeah.. Rob told me when it started last night.. you guys suck:mad:

Ken, you know that psychic thing we have some times? Well, I knew there would be a post saying SNOW!!! when I logged on. It's snowing hre in NS, although not sticking, so I KNOW there's snow in your area.

 

Wanna know how sad I am that I can't take my girl up to Snoqualmie to play in the snow and laugh at all the scared REI types trying out their jeeps and isuzus in a few inches of white? ? ?

At least 2 weeks till Ican drive.

I woke up this morning expecting to look outside and see white everywhere, but it was raining. So I sit down to read the Sunday paper and watch the news. After about an hour, they switch back to a reporter who is covering the snow, and I turn to the window, about to make a comment about it not snowing here, and there it was, snow coming down, but not sticking. I too was betting that when I got on the board that Ken would have posted something about it snowing at his place, but I thought Rob would have been there too.

 

We didn't get much last year. Seemed everyone else was getting it.

Like Caleb said, I mentioned it around 1230am on MSM. Obviously I wasnt up at the crack of dawn. Well, the kids were. Its like X-mas to them:santa:

Yeah we got snow here in Reno Nevada October 31st. I woke up to 3.5 inches on the ground. Kinda strange that it's still raining in Alaska. This storm we got came from your neck of the woods. hehe

You lucky bumbs. I just got back from the store and it's only rain and snow mixed here.

Snow is gone, back to rain now, you can't even tell it as snowing at all. Bummer!!!

It's snowing at my parents house... I was called at 6:30am by them just so they could let me know that it was snowing hard and they have about 2.5-3 inches on the ground. They are also at about 4800' in elevation in Central Oregon.

i wonder if my drive to work in st'helens 2 night will be semi amusing

as i scoot on past all the people that freak out about a few flakes

round this time last year i drove home on sheet ice in my s-10 blazer with a messed up front end in 4wd it wanted to go everywhere but straight lol

ya, its a snowin here in montana as well....

gonna take the pink martini down to meet the parents in The Dalles today... hopefully the Columbia River Gorge isnt that bad...

well, thismorning my mom came down and woke me up, and was saying "its snowing!"

 

so I looked outside, and sure enough, there were some big fat snowflakes comin' down!

 

but now it is sunny.... oh well! better than rain!

 

now I need to go do a tranny swap....

yeah up here they said it was gonna snow, now it's clear blue skies without a cloud in sight. :boohoo: It freezes over night, and comes a bit above in the day, so the snow would kinda stick.

Well... We got our 1st rainfall the other day. No snow here, but its good to see rain. If it snowed in Reno, that means there's snow in Tahoe!

GOOD LORD!!!!!!!!!!! why oh why do you people WANT snow. you can't really hit the trails in the snow. and it's cold and my wipers are broken. well, best wishes.

yeah, but its FUN!!!!

 

Where else can you drive around through the streets in 4WD, bawling past Chevy's and Ford's, sliding around corners.... just having FUN!!

 

I miss it Hope I can get up there and play in the mountains this week.
