mcbrat
Let's see... been a while... Loaded up a bunch of lumber in my 86 BRat... Towed a trailer with my Forester... 9 mp with bad wind. But still only 10-11 mpg with normal winds... the trailer weights 1300 lbs empty, ATV is 600 lbs, plus an EA81 fully loaded, and an engine hoist... Parted out an '84 wagon for the above mentioned EA81 and these...

superu
Did you keep the plastic surround or bolt straight to the sheet metal? I tried a speaker swap in my old IMP but the speaker was too deep and the window hit, and with the plastic surround, the magnet was to wide Maybe Legacy speakers are different? i would like better speakers in my leggo as well. thanks! -mw- Put these $24 200w 10oz magnet 3-ways in the Legacy. TheLoyale
Superu, No I couldn't use the plastic surround. The Speaker body was to large (Design is a little different then the Stock ones) so I just screwed them right to the door. I had to hammer up the hole lip aswell. And yea if I were to put these in the front, the window hits. Just goes to show EA82s are better Try looking at Pioneer, some of their speakers aren't as deep. I did everything Pioneer in my Loyale.
