those rock. although on a side note (not a bad one mind you) they kinda have a kaleidoscope effect to them on the eyes.

Why thank you (the Wheel Covers #2 thread has the videos in it...) and THAT is pretty trippy...

But I like em.

ast night I worked on the Brat.

Installed 2 new front axles

installed new crossmember and mounts to 5 speed dual range (thanks Jerry!!)

installed clutch and pressure plate to flywheel

looked at throw out bearing from 4 speed that is too small for 5 speed, went to PepBoys and was told they don't carry any TOBs

retired early to finish the driveline reassembly another night.

Let's see... been a while...

Loaded up a bunch of lumber in my 86 BRat...

Towed a trailer with my Forester... 9 mp with bad wind. But still only 10-11 mpg with normal winds... the trailer weights 1300 lbs empty, ATV is 600 lbs, plus an EA81 fully loaded, and an engine hoist...

Parted out an '84 wagon for the above mentioned EA81 and these...

Finished rebuilding the engine for a 97 impreza outback sport.

Getting ready to install it tomorrow but wanted to change out the duty solenoid c while I had the engine out and the exhaust stuff out of the way.

Hush

Waxed her up and rain-X'd the windows for the winter.

Winter wheels and tires go on this afternoon.

Now THAT's a clean GL... maybe I should try this "wax" you speak of..

cheers.

Put a new NTK O2 sensor in my EA82 today, Wow now for some reason this motor keeps giving me pull all the way thru the power band. First time it ever has.

I just ordered my fender flares. I should be able to run the Pugs and Hoosiers soon.

Bought a drivers side fender, bumper, headlight and hood for the turbo wagon. little bit closer on the getting things done.....

more junk yard action tomorrow!

I LOVE pulling my own stuff, that way I know from experimentation how to take my own car apart without consequences!

Put these $24 200w 10oz magnet 3-ways in the Legacy. Sounds pretty good!

Did you keep the plastic surround or bolt straight to the sheet metal? I tried a speaker swap in my old IMP but the speaker was too deep and the window hit, and with the plastic surround, the magnet was to wide

Maybe Legacy speakers are different?

i would like better speakers in my leggo as well.

thanks!

new used power steering bracket, a pair of headlight housings and started on the rear miata shock swap.

Superu,

No I couldn't use the plastic surround. The Speaker body was to large (Design is a little different then the Stock ones) so I just screwed them right to the door. I had to hammer up the hole lip aswell. And yea if I were to put these in the front, the window hits. Just goes to show EA82s are better :)

Try looking at Pioneer, some of their speakers aren't as deep. I did everything Pioneer in my Loyale.
