  1. I have a set of four alloy rims...premier type; I can ship them to you with lugnuts and center caps for $100 complete (ground shipping included in that price). The clear coat is peeling and they could certainly use re-finishing of some sort, but they are good working wheels. Here's a pic of one of the four; you can see the rest in my Stuff for Sale album in my photo section.
  2. Weather watch in effect now! http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=Cle%20Elum,%20WA&wuSelect=WEATHER
  3. Have you been paying attention to the clutch pedal adjustment? As the clutch disk wears out normally, the adjustment tightens up and eventually you have no pedal play at all. The effect is the same as "riding the clutch" and it will start to slip since it is not fully engaged. I've put off many a clutch jobs on various subes just by readjusting the clutch pedal play.
  4. I haven't heard as yet.
  5. Jon, I think you left out a few turns!

  7. Jeez Jon, you're no better than google!
  8. Not without a decent size map and street names. I'll be using mapquest!
  9. We did luck out on the weather. Jeanne and I continued about 50 miles south for a few days at Nehalem Bay and some more camping. Rain Sunday night, off and on rain on Monday (more during the night), light rain on Tuesday and a deluge that night around 3AM. We left this morning during off and on rain which turned into an all day deluge that didn't clear up until we got back to Olympia.
  10. Okay, I'm in. Now, someone get me decent directions to get there!
  11. Even nicer to see the water wagon painted one color!
  12. For some reason, the fairgrounds people switched fields on ORG and relegated the event to a field only slightly larger than the ORV park in WA. Also, the grass was so tall it was hard to see the pointer cones which made for a challenge to the CRS afflicted among us. I was looking forward to the large field used last year and getting a long run out of it. As I said, ORG managed to pull off a fine event in spite of the smaller field, tall grass, and barely enough room to park and grid cars. I especially liked the printed labels with times that were handed out...a splendid idea that makes one wonder why it hasn't been done sooner. And promptly posted results have become a hallmark for ORG.
  13. I'd replace the waterpump if it's pretty old. If it's under 30K-40K I think you can get away with just a gasket.
  14. Just uploaded them into my laptop. We're spending a few days on the OR coast before returning home. Drop me an address and I'll send you a CD; I have about a 100 pics and it'll take me too long to re-size them and I can only post one at a time to the board once I do that. It'll be a while.
  15. Results at http://www.oregonrally.com/files/RX_8_17_2008.pdf
  16. Russ, if those turds at Les Schwab don't appreciate your skill and services, it was probably worth it. Karma will come and bite them in the butt (I knew there was a reason I didn't like them; you were the only reason I'd consider going there). Trust me, you're a talented individual and a BETTER job is out there waiting for you.
  17. I will have a pair for DL frames at WCSS10 which I never used on my '86 wagon. They'll be pretty cheap since I don't want to bring them home again.
  18. Zap, nothing personal, but isn't this link for Astoria (as is the first)?? See you there this weekend.
  19. How do you know it has the right amount of refrigerant? This is not something the average person can determine. Are we're talking about your '86 wagon here or your '96 OBW?
  20. That's really why I don't sell anything on ebay. Too many people out there looking for a reason NOT to buy something or inflate their ego. Sometimes it's better to say less about something than more.
  21. I love the excitement and anticipation. Here's hoping the weather holds up: http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=Astoria,%20OR&wuSelect=WEATHER
  22. If I remember correctly, the only difference is the rear backing plate.
  23. You're in luck. There's an independent Subaru shop at the corner of Prescott and 82nd (I think). Anyway, you can find them at www.fixmysuby.com. They're opening a second shop in the area but I don't know where that is yet. Great place to do business, especially for the earlier models. I live just north of Seattle, but try to arrange service on my Impreza whenever I'm in Portland on business. Tell them edrach sent you!
  24. A good solvent to use to remove adhesives is WD-40. Not sure if it works on the adhesive used for the headlamp protector, but works great on adhevise left behind from bumper stickers and similar plastics. Use the WD-40 to dissolve and remove the glue and then brake cleaner or something similar to remove the WD-40.
