  1. I did it last year on my Brat. Best thing to do is replace all the bulbs since you already have it out.
  2. The seats from the GL wagon would not allow you to flip them forward to gain access to the t-top straps. If you were going to do all the work, best find some XT6 seats.
  3. So does this mean that I can no longer purchase Subaru memorabilia of the LL Bean web page? I hope so cause they are sorry, only offer one size in the shirt that I want. This past weekend I was at the Honduh dealership getting the wife's car serviced. I noticed that their parts department carried all kinds of Honda shirts but I cannot get crap from my local dealer except referred to the LL Bean site. I checked and their Subaru section is off their website.
  4. Woman: I am sick and tired of you all the time fixing that thing. You should have bought the BRAT! Man: I am sick and tired of you not shutting up. Look who's on the bike! Nice score Connie, hope you enjoyed my maintenance manual voice over.
  5. I believe those wheels are still 4x140 Enkies. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/80s/wheels2/wheels.html
  6. Looks like it would be a pretty straight forward replacement. Cut out and weld in. Here is my white parts brat when I got it. I know your feeling.
  7. I am surprised to see you restoring that. I would have just took that Brat straight to the junkyard.
  8. Marshall does not charge a core fee if you are a board member. I have one in my Brat and love it.
  9. HOLY CRAP! I am going to adjust my asking price on my Brat now. Congratulations.
  10. No it sure doesnt. But, my tube of Subaru chapstic balances it out.
  11. Should have said something that you were coming through here. Would have made for a good random conversation.
  12. I wouldn't think it would create too much of a fuss being 25 years old. This is what became of the broken old one:
  13. Last summer I swapped the clusters on my Brat. The one I pulled had about 234K on it. I replaced it with one that had 65k. Now the time has come for me to sell it. I state in the ad that it has been swapped before. Will this create an issue when I sign it over to a new owner? I assumed that since its so old, it is exempt from any mileage checks.
  14. The t-tops make me into a baked chicken when I get out of my Brat everyday.
  15. That is a real good shape "Brat" decal too. Nice find.
  16. Well the bearings that we send to them are made in: Germany, Korea, Taiwan, India, Slovakia, and a few I believe from France and Japan.
