  1. I asked this Before, in a previous post of this thread: The wheels I have, came from a 1991 Nissan 240sx known as "S13" and they are centered by the Lug nuts, not by the Hubs, but I've been driving my "BumbleBeast" like that, since year 1996, when I did the Hub re-drill to change the lug pattern. I'm not sure if I am using the Proper lug nuts, the blue ones shown above; or if I need to obtain different lug nuts. Please let me know. Kind Regards.
  2. Subarus were also assembled in a small plant at Waitara, New Zealand; just north of New Plymouth. The EA82 Coupes known as "Omega" and the Brat, are some Examples. Kind Regards.
  3. Well, the Photo of the Brumby is Back! ... No more butterflies. I bet that the photo hosting website scrambled the URL Links
  4. What happened to your Brumby (Brat) Photo? ... ... it turned onto Butterflies! Or was that your Colour Scheme inspiration?
  5. A Big Kia Bus, parked at Random Street in Honduras. Did the first gen Spectra, went with Rear Wipers in USDM? This local one was spotted by me at Random parking lot: Sorry for my Cheapo cellphone's photo. Kind Regards.
  6. ~► Kia "Made in Mexico" I knew about they building a plant in Mexico since long time ago, there was a Poster regarding this at the local Kia Dealer, which stated that the Kia Mexico plant will be Enormous... That is a Good Move for Kia, the LADM (Latin American Domestic Market) is Enormous also. We have Kias since the 1970's decade in Central America / Latin America, except Mexico, that only allows cars assembled in there... that will spread Kia's Markets and Lower costs for their models being sold in LADM. Smart Move. Kia prescence is Big in LADM, it competes with Toyota in number of units sold. Let me show you some photos of old local Kias, in Honduras: 1980's Kia "K3500" Diesel Truck, next to our "KiaStein" : Our "KiaStein" Parked aside a 1976 Kia Brissa: A 1970's Kia Master Pick Up: In latin America, there are some differences, in example, the same car is Sold as "Cerato" if it is CRDi Diesel engined, and is sold as "Forte" it is Gasoline Engined. There are Big Kia Trucks, Buses etc, also the Sephia name is still Alive here, see:
  7. Here in Honduras, you can do Whatever work you want to your Cars, inside your Garage and in your House's Sidewalk, as long as the noise you are making, is only during day times; no one makes noises after the 6 O'clock in the afternoon, and no one starts making noises before the 7 O'clock in the morning, its a nationwide Rule. I did the engine Swap on my Wife's car, in the sidewalk. Usually here, the Neighbours, instead of complaining, if they sees you doing repairs, they asks you to do repairs on their cars ... Yes Honduras has much more disorder, but maybe more freedom as well? Dear Thomas, I wish you can solve the issue soon, maybe you can place some kind of fence surrounding your House? ... Here we have tall walls surrounding our houses, not only for safety, but also to avoid problems with neighbours... Kind Regards.
  8. I tried to Powder Coat the 15" Aluminium wheels I obtained for my "BumbleBeast" and it was very expensive locally, so I ended painting them, with the help of a special aluminium Primer, in non-metallic Glossy Black for heavy machinery, to bear the rude use at my offroadings, but I added a yellow trim on their outer lips, to match my Wagon's Radioactive Yellow colour. So, maybe you can paint yours in Black, and add a Red accent as well. Kind Regards.
  9. I kindly suggest you to paint 'em in Gunmetal grey but not in Matte. A Shiny finish is more durable and easier to keep cleaner... Kind Regards.
  10. I believe that you did a great work here, and it worth be completed AND saved at the USRM section. Kind Regards.
  11. Yes, the Honda Accord coil Springs in the Rear + Ford Tempo coil Springs in the Front is the Best Combo, due to the equality of the Suspension's Stiffness in both axles, and provides better Handling than the Stock one, despite of being Harder. Thank you for your feedback. Kind Regards.
  12. I tried in the past to source one of those Locally, as the LADM (Latin American Domestic Market) Specs Subarus also has Dual Range Gearboxes, it was for a good friend in USA, but it is much easier to buy the Complete Legacy, Impreza or Forester Dual Range, rather than to find any of those at Local Junk Yards. Here I posted Photos of LADM specs Dual Range Legacy, also Carbureted + Disty EJ engines from Factory: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/98480-need-advice-legacy-wagon/ Kind Regards.
  13. Thank you all, for your kindness and will of helping me which I really appreciate beyond I could ever tell. However I can not accept any package to be sent at my "Virtual Address" at this moments... my physical address written on the packages I've sent is incomplete, because I never use it, since almost everything that is sent directly to me, gets lost, I use the "Virtual Address" for safety. Believe me, I've tried ALL that without success, mainly because new Job opportunities are really Scarce here in Honduras, there are many Professionals, such like Engineers, Architects, Pharmaceuticals, etc... working as Taxi Drivers; Girls who are Doctors are selling imitation Jewelry, Cellphones, clothes, etc... at Shopping Malls, and even on the Streets; and our politicians only knows how to draw more Taxes from the population... I dislike politics. I really prefer a Job with a monthly payment, rather than solving cases at the Courts, I've done that in the past and it takes too much long time to see money from the Customers... Meanwhile I've been doing many small works, such like routine maintenance on Cars, Oil & filters' change, brake pads change, etc, even households works such like installing electricity and plumbing lines... you know... This past weekend I sold the last pair of wooden enclosures for Speakers that I made, but I've had my little daughter ill from tonsillitis, and I been offline for a while... sorry. Back on Topic, I've done absolutely Nothing to my Subie... ...who lies abandoned in the Garage... I'll keep this updated with any news regarding the Subject as they occur. Kind Regards.
  14. How do you feel the Front suspension with the Tempo coil Springs? I have many years using those on my "BumbleBeast" See ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/106807-improved-shock-absorbers-and-spring-coils-on-loyales/ Kind Regards.
  15. Maybe he is just Having Fun with that Brat, meanwhile he gets back to this Awesome Project? Kind Regards.
  16. Yes, me too... Yes, sometimes my Wife obtains extra discounts at random stores. Yes, I opened the Plug since Yesterday's night... Now I'm going to sell some stuff / obtain the new Transmission Oil. I hope I could obtain a new Job, soon... Thank you all, for your kind offers of Helping me, which I really appreciate. Kind Regards.
  17. No my dear friend, my Uncle literally Destroyed my other yellow wagon, who was the 2.7 turbo Project, which is in Subaru heaven now, but that was an unfortunate accident, he is alright and it was not his fault. Life continued. So, I painted my former White Wagon which I own since 1985 in yellow & black, after that, and it became the "BumbleBeast" Yes. My mistake. The Shop is at the top of a steep hill, so I climbed it in first gear at full throttle, they heard the Boxer Rumble yelling thru the Weber's throat and asked me about that noise, especially after they heard the car so quiet at slow speeds and idle after that; so I lifted the hood to show 'em my Weber Swap; then they asked me regarding other subjects, such like the Zip Ties on the Axles' rubber boots, my Relay Box swap, the H.I.D.'s, twin electric fans, etc, etc, etc... I left the hood up and I went to pick the Wheels from the Subie's cargo area, two by two, then I went inside the shop to prepare the wheels to be painted. The shop owner and I were talking and also we were Hungry, so I offered him to invite Hamburguers, we went to pick a couple of Combos at Wendy's autoservice in his Car ... less than twenty minutes my "BumbleBeast" was left in that shop with his employees, with the Hood opened, but it was enough for an envious heart to do the Damage. No, it was Not a Prank. In fact, seemed like the guy was looking for the Engine's Dipstick... Thank you for your kind offer. However, I always pay the shipping & Handling costs from my "Virtual Address" in USA to Honduras. Right now I can't accept your kind offer, I hope you'll understand. But I really appreciate your will of helping me. Thank You.
  18. Your Subie looks Fantastic! Lifted RX + EJ22 Swap = Awesomeness. Do you plan to paint it or do any mod to the body? Kind Regards.
  19. Every cloud has a silver lining, you'll find a newer, much Better Job. Kind Regards and Blessings.
  20. Yes, check the Fusible Links on the black box, on the Radiator overflow tank. Kind Regards.
  21. Yes, also I Believe that the best thing to do is a Drain, letting the drain plug out all night Long. However, I believe that there could have been some damage to the internals... It isn't necessary, the shop owner is a lost friend after the unfortunate event. And nothing that I could ever say, will bring back the time... Kind Regards.
  22. Now I know what Happened to my Subaru: Sabotage! Yesterday's night while trying to sleep, I remembering where / when my Subaru has been alone, and the only place was Recently, at a "Friend's" paint shop, where I went to paint the Aluminium Wheels in Black. I left my subie there for a whole afternoon. So, I went there today's early morning, explained the issue to him, and after asking all his employees, one claimed that he "Saw someone playing with a plastic Bottle of purified Water around the Engine Bay" but he doesn't know who it is, nor why that happened. As I don't have enemies and I never had problems nor fights with people, (I solve the issues talking, you know: I am a Lawyer), I believe that some Crazy guy with envy from good old cars, did that intentionally... and in the worst moment. How I Hate such destructive Behaviour! Now my subie shall be kept stored unused for a while in the Garage... Kind Regards.
  23. I've been using that Motul oils since the 1990's decade, and during all these years, I've never experienced such a thing... Yes, but there is a bunch of good reasons behind that decision, as an Example: If the Kia gets vandalized and someone breaks any Glass, I can find hundreds of Kias in Local Junk Yards, but not a Single Subaru, also Kia is plenty of Dealer and Aftermarket Support, while Subarus are Orphan here... and also, the Kia is a car that doesn't attract the attention of almost nobody, while my "Radioactive Yellow Subaru" gets lots of Looks everywhere...
  24. Here is the information, part number, photos and also a downloadable .pdf file, regarding that issue: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/114260-oil-catch-can-in-ea82/page-2?do=findComment&comment=1030760 Kind Regards.
  25. Yes, there have been Downpours lately. No, the Subie was in a Closed Garage during those Downpours. Unlike my Wife's car who rest on the Street, my home only has a one car garage. Yes, maybe, somehow... Not yet, but I'll do that as soon as Possible. I just discovered that this afternoon... Yes for sure, but I'm in "Low Budget mode" still Jobless for almost a year now ... ... So I can't purchase fresh Oil for the Subie in this moments. Meanwhile it must stay parked 'till I could afford another set of this oil, which was changed less than a couple of years ago: Kind Regards.
