  2. another thing about the sensor wiring extension is make sure you connected the cam wiring to the cam sensor and the crank wiring to the crank sensor....not trying to say you're stupid...just trying to help dave

  5. you guys must be discussing a PAP up north or something...because if there were that many soobs at PAP down here i would have a yard full of used parts just waiting for something to break. i work at another yard and can totally understand the frustration of the people at PAP....i have to mark some parts in so many places that i almost can't write small enough....(i have a paint marker....neener, neener, neener:-p )
  6. i am sorry...but i still cannot find info on the whens and wheres of the event other than that it is at so little tavern or something. would someone please be a little more specific on the details.....PLEASE?!?!?!?!
  7. hey i can't access the link.....please help
  8. both front fenders on the legacy need to come off, the entire dash, including the heater box and all needs to come out. when i did my swap i went to PAP here in tacoma and it took me about 2 hours to get the entire harness out in one peice....also make sure that you get the ignition relay and the fuel pump relay that should be under the drivers side dash in the donor car.
  9. when i did my swap, i found out that i was not getting power all the time to the fuel pump relay which in turn powers the ignition relay.....actually i think back now and it was losing the ground circuit after a few seconds...make sure you check battery power and ignition power to the relays and then verify that you aren't losing your ground..that's all i can think of.
  10. hey, i was at rallyx also and i believe we ran into each other when you said you were tired of standing and got your little chair, i was in com 1 in the after noon secocond session, i was in the blue ea82 wagon with the pugs. the one in my avatar

  15. Your Car Must Be An Automatic, If I Did That In My Car I Would Smash My Hand Into It Every Time I Shifted. Nice Work Tho, Looks Good.
  16. i did the ej22 n/a swap in my 86 wagon and am very impressed by the power difference. if you want to increase HP, then i would definately go for the ej swap not the ea82t stuff. i picked up my donor legacy for $450.00 just trying to help. dave
  17. just a note.....the xt6 clutch is the exact same clutch as the ea82t clutch happy hunting
  18. hey, good luck with your mods. i've got my EJ swap running and screamin down the road. did 105-110 on the freeway the other day:headbang:
  19. the axle wears out the hub because it is not torqued properly, they have to be tight or the axle "rocks" back and forth in the hub

  21. yes there is a definate difference in stopping power
  22. you are going to need the wiring for the awd solenoids unless i am mistaken, and you need to make sure the trans and diff are the same gear ratio
  23. well i got the disc brake setup on my car today and the thing is way different than with drums on the rear. now i have the power out and the power to stop it too.
