Horrible news, Colin McRae dies in Helicopter Crash
beataru replied to TheSubaruJunkie's topic in Rally/Racing
Is any channel going to do something for him, like show how FREAKING BAD rump roast he was (especiall when he was racing for us)... I bet if speedvision was still around, it would have been all over it. Speedchanel better get their act straight!!! -
Drain the tank, clean it out with some fresh gas and then drain it again, then put some more gas in it (brand new) and drive it like your being chased by satan dressed as a drag queen... (i made that one up) and then see how she does!

oh no, woman and a welder, watchout it will probably beat all of our welds as far as perfection goes... -
Mine never beeps? and im not asking (or careing) why they revved it that high, i just want to know how the engine held up at higher rpms, I know at really high reves any engine (thats not built for it of course) will loose oil pressure because the pump spinns to fast and cant grab the oil (but thats another topic) anyways, keep the info coming, It helps alot when considering what will damage thse things and what wont, as far as valve float goes, I am looking into stiffer springs which would take care of that, but the float kinda seems like an accidental rev mechanical rev limiter.... anyways keep it coming, someone go out there and progressively rev the crap out of your car until it dies... ok just kidding.

Help... 88 EA82T surges at 5K rpm

I think you have either a boost leak (which is actually different than a vaccum leak) or serious fuell issues, did you properly hone your cylinders, and did you properly break it in, or did you drive like a batouttahell right out of the garage. Did you do anyhting to the valvetrain? and what does it fell like when you get to5grand, no power at all, kinda like a revlimmiter? -
Ok Whats the Highest youve ever revved your subarus engine, please state the engine name and then revs, and (if) what happoned. I revved mine (free Revved) to 7500 on accident... nothing happened but i didnt like the feeling of doing that to my poor car.

Go get your self some 15's and get some 205/../R15 Falken Azenies, those are the widest 205s that you will get, I will buy those for my next set of tires if I have power by then, if not, my cheasy khumos will work just fine! -
Problem: black smoke from EA71 exhaust

so you mustof increased the richness... will it stay running if you give it gas, you know, try to keep it alive? mabey your jets have been eroded or clogged i am not sure if you can get new jets for these carbs or not. -

Our cars dont weigh that much at all, 250 could spinn them, but not roast them. -
All gel cell bats are AGM, (absorbed glass Mat)... sorry If I sound like a jerk, I dont mean to, just want let you know that, Deep Cycles are for extensive use without charging... you got a decent batery! Optima red tops are the best for our applications, but deep cycles are for things like trolling motors and heavy machinery that doesnt get operated freaquently.. either way they will work perfectly for cars though!

Porsche only uses anerobic sealant on their aircooled models.. anyways i just felt like being a porsche nerd for a sec, If you get any paper gaskets for things like say the water pump, I wouldnt use them, some people might but paper gaskets can sometimes tear and I just used toyota bond on mine... in az temps its still pumpin strong!!! you dont need rtv on rubber gaskets like the valve covers, wherevery you see the factory grey, clean it off with a razor and some brake clean or whatever, just becarful not to scower (cant spell) the gasket mating surface, remember with cars you get what you pay for!

oh really??? thats right I guess so, I thought wrong my bad... anyways I will be accepting donations of various bolt on upgrades for my wagon right now -
If you dont want to be let down as far as RTV goes, get some Toyota bond, At a toyota dealer its a little pricey not rediculous though and it is some of the best stuff ever (Porsche techs use it over their loctite stuff on their own vehicles and Mercedes techs alike) and remember that you dont need huge globs if you use a quarter of a tube on this your using way too much.. make SURE YOU LABLE EVERYTHING some bolts, not many, are longer than the others and when your re assembling it, it will be very frustrating if you dont remember where the long ones vs the short ones go... take pics and post them so you can give us detailed info if you need help!

Ok thanks, it looks ***************in but I have never seen it move, it is always in the same spot every single day... and I even get their at about 7:20 every day and class doesnt start untill 8:05, so either its a member of staff who gets there uber early or it is someones and they just leave it there, its looks to be in super perfection as far as condition goes, I wonder if they know how rare they are... Ill give him 50 bucks for it how sweet would that be!!!
