  1. There are no pre-fabbed lifts for any gen one car. Also, the gen ones rear control arm comes very close to the rear wheel/tire combo. I don't know if the 14" pugs will fit with stock pug tire size on there, but I guess you'll just have to test it out.
  2. NGK hands down. The FSM calls for them and subes just seem to run better on them than anything else. We changed the champions out of Wagonpowaa's brat and it ran better. Took the Boschs out of my T-wagon and it ran better. Replaced whatever was in Lepetitprince's brat and it passed emissions.
  3. If your car has a carb, then you can put on a weber or SPFI conversion. I dont know if subaru sold any RXs where you live \, but if they did, then you could grab the body kit off one of those.
  4. Any interior shots coming in the near future?
  5. Great job! But like always in autox, it is the driver who wins the race, not the car. And by this I mean that you are an amazing driver! Imagine what you could do in an STi!!!
  6. Hey Subieguy, could I score that license plate frame off that blue brat? Let me know what you want for it.
  7. AMEN! Those flairs wouldn't be bad but what I picture is more like WRX or Mitsu Starion fender flairs. For the front fenders it would be cool if the flairs were intigrated into the fender and the rears could be rivited or blended into the existing fenders.
  8. Looks great! I really like that red on gold combo, I wonder why? Keep me in mind if you decide to change the wheels!!!
  9. I have no clue. I wanted to grab the tranny, but my old man was against it.
  10. Don't forget about us EA81 guys! If you can make a hood with all the same options as the EA82 guys are talking about, that would be killer!
  11. Id pay $200-250 for an OEM style hood, $300 for one with provisions for hod scoops and $200 for flaired front fenders and bolt on flairs for the rear of my EA81 wagon.
  12. I'd be interested in the CF brat hood, or even FG. Can you give us a rough estimate of cost for both these options?
  13. Its been a long time since this has been updated, so I figure I'll drop some news. QS's original engine has been removed and is about to be rebuilt. The spare engine that we have (The one with roller rockers) is being rebuilt too. Unfortunatly, I've been temporarily bumped from this project, but I'll do my best to make sure the guys working on the engines do a good job.
  14. This car was abandoned in the Central parking lot at the Summit at Snoqualmie. Engine was gone, tranny was still there. The rear glass was busted out and some other stuff was missing.
  15. Need pics and more detailed description of the part.
  16. Hmmmm, projector headlights? This sounds interesting... Wonder what the beam pattern is like...
  17. There were issues with the turbos in 83. In 84 the factory started authorizing a water cooling package be installed on all EA81Ts that were sold or whose owners brought them in. My 84 turbo is watercooled.
  18. Sticker under the hood tells what the car was sold as and the little metal plackard in the driver's door jam is the actual birthday, IIRC.

How would you route the tube through the radiator?
  20. My vote is no. Keep RXs for what they were intended for, rally and street.
  21. WRX struts and springs lower a Forester by about 2 inches front and rear and the OBS struts are only .5"- 1" taller than the WRX package, so go with Forester springs and struts.
  22. I agree with the idea of a $50 core. $150 does not scare me off personally, considering what other aftermarket adjustable cam gears run. Would it cost any more when you start making them with aluminum hubs?
  23. Very hot! What do you think a set of these will run?
