Steering extension length ratio to lift block?
Pythagoreum theorum. "a" squared + "b" squared = "c" squared Where: a = distance horizontally from rack end to steering column. b = Height from rack end to steering column end. c = length of coupler. Add the lift block height to "b" and solve for c.

Gen2 BRAT Lift: Drop Diff or Not?
rear shocks for 88 Chevy S-10 4wd are a bolt in fit for EA81 with 6" blocks. The 2wd ones might be shorter, work for 2"~4" lifts.

Lift block height
Saab front end parts are about the only ones harder to find than Subaru! If you want double A-arms...I'd be looking for more common stuff.....like Toyota truck or even Isuzu truck parts.......a little heavier and stronger too.

Looking for someone with knowledge of 87 gl cruise control
I need to know if you have the dealer installed system or the factory. Is your car a GL-10? Does it have trip computer? If not it is the dealer setup. Suspects right off are Brake switch bumper, vac line to canister at pedal, and vac line to big round resevior mounted to passenger strut tower.

Gen2 BRAT Lift: Drop Diff or Not?
If you add blocks to the suspension you will have to drop the diff the same amount at the mustache since the diff is mounted to the torsion tube in front. Or else it will be cocked upwards in the rear and have terrible U-joint angles. make sure to extend the bumpstops or you will hyper extend on compression.

wagon rear hatch position sensor
The switch is in the latch. Remove latch and clean switch usually solves issues. If not replace latch.

1987 subaru gl throttle position sensor help
There are still many Spfi subies in wreckers and engines on shelfs. I would ask around to buy an entire used intake. Any SPFI, EA82 engine will be the same 88-94 or 87 will have a few different connectors but all the same parts, same TPS for sure.

My tire fell off :(
I've seen the pinch bolt come out or w/undersized bolt where ether joint falls out. Can be popped back in in this case and secure with correct pinchbolt

Looking for a hand with Turbo MPFI Engine Electrical System
That coil is for a Hotwire setup. Take off the transistor from the bottom and wire it direct to the disty. Or get a coil from a carbed car.

Big Summer NW wheelin trip?
Oh Hecht yeah. I'd love if you WA guys would come down for some browns/TSF wheelin. But I thought Evans is closer to most of you but not all the way up to walker for those of us coming from Oregon. 7/18 would be a good day for me.

Logistical Carb Rebuild Question
I'd be inclined to just take the top off the running carb in the car. Then remove emulsion tubes and clear them, and replace the airhorn orings and the accel pump. Put it back toghether and go. No need to disturb the base.

1983 sleeper GL?
Your wrong. My info is from FSM. Carter's re mechanical, for 4wds. 2wds asd Cali's in those years use hitachi feedback. There were no carter feedbacks. The Carter's used in Subaru's are not webers

Transmission problems after TCU "update"
Gloyale replied to Gloyale's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXSo the car has been taken and diagnosed at a more experienced dealer. Unfortunately, whatever improper action that was performed at first dealership fried the TCU, and apparently shift solenoid C. Fried. No resistance through its coil. And being such a late production 4eat, will need entire new valve body. So we will be spending $2500 out of pocket and filling suit to recover damages from either SOA or dealership. Worst Subaru repair experience of my 20+years in Subaru's. My aunt who has purchased 2 brand new subies in the last 8 years, will not buy another. Says she's getting a jeep.

EJ22 or EJ18 swap into EJ25D DOHC vehicle
Would be hack job. Ej18 uses it's own IAC. And TPS. You could probably make it run by swapping throttle bodies and blockin iac ports. But wouldn't be perfect
